Thread: Jedi should get nothing special.
Still screaming nerfs for jedi we are nothing to do with BH anymore....guess you just have to go find your own content. Nobody forced you to be a BH it was your choice.
We are it sounds like gonna be the same powers as any other player now, and I dont wanna be your content anymore if thats the case.

This must be Selfish thread # 22352523124. Ok Carry on.
Not selfish. I am just tired of Jedi thinking they are above others. In the end you have just as much right to special treatment as other vets, no more or less.

Players will get the Elder treatment. All of them regardless of profession. Now, Jedi was a profession that included a certain risk and lots of hard work, they are just trying to compensate that. What would a Robe/Lightsaber/Crystal be good for you? So you can sell it? Because its obvious you dont want to play as a Jedi.... unless you are lying and now that you can respec to a Jedi, you feel its ok to get those items.
Scenerio:
Player 1 buys game after CU, grinds Jedi first thing. Total time in game=6 months. Gets full rewards andrespec's toa higher CL Jedi after NGE.
Player 2 played since beta 2, never went jedi. Total time in game=As long as it has been around. Gets elder rewards and can respec's to a Jedi after NGEthat can never be as powerful as Player 1's Jedi.
Now what if we make Player 1 an "Ebay" Jedi, a "paid someone to grind it for me" Jedi, or an "AFK grinding" Jedi?
Player 1 in all cases in deemed more of a Veteran and recieves more. Why?!?

The simple fact is, they chose to go Jedi, therefore they get the reward for becoming one, no one forced you to be a Jedi correct, but for choosing Jedi, you got the reward.
A similar reward for other vets (master badges from the now-obselete professions like CH and BE, plaques for day 1 vets, etc) would be fine with me, too.
But folks: if this new game is predicated on the "all characters are roughly equal in ability, and its your skill in playing that sets you apart", lets GO WITH IT, and not grandfather in stronger, Elder jedi.

You don't understand our point of view. Many Jedi grinded for many hours to get to where they are today, then SOE turned around and made it a default class. The thing that the Jedi community wants is just some sort of compensation, and it has nothing to do with "Vet" status. It's not OUR fault that you decided not to go down the Jedi path, but some of us did.
