tatooine is a good place to grind on Intrepid ... since ironically all the noobs flock to spam out post on dantooine....
and I find ronto die faster and use less force then pikeys anyway

Nope. One mastery is 15,220,000 xp, and at a little more than 1000xp/kill at cl 80, that's right at 14-15k pikets to master a Jedi Tree.

Thejedi grind is a bit of a tester but you'll find it less painful than the fs grind. No more trips to that horrible village, w00h00!

I dont think so. Hes gonna have to farm tons of krayts and corsairs to get a decent saber and its a grind in it self. With premiums gone its way harder to do post CU.
Congrats. This is one of the most exciting times in the game, at least for me (I've made 2 Jedi, hehe)
I had to wait about 24 hours for the old man. I waited outside the MO on purpose, then went into MO where there's lots of Jedi in hunting groups. Several were happy to help, and thus I finished Mellichae pretty quickly.
Have fun with the trials, and remember that it's not worth killing someone over a pie (unless maybe you're a smuggler, 
)
When you get your last trial, be sure to turn up your volume before meditating at the shrine, m'kay?
The two food/drink items you will need are Pyrollian Cake (Food) and Bespin Port (Drink). One of them helps on Assembly and the other one helps with Experimentation.
Of course the other option you have is to go with masteries that are not in the LS line.... than you won't have to worry about Pearls/Crystals. Just get yourself Area Lightning (Powers 2xxx?) and grind up that way without need for a LS. Then you can Force Choke your BH opponents, Cloak and then haul ass....

I've been waiting a year now to unlock jedi and i've finally did it! And I personally don't care if i get a glow bat that was crafted by "Nerf" itself ...i want my jedi character to play and roleplay, as well as unlocking a 2nd character!
I also have a mix of 25 pearls and crystals (about 50/50) in my house along with a 15.00 crafting station and what not. So im all set and hopefully will make some DECENT tunes from them when i get my jedi. But thats debatable
What are the LS Crafting drinks/foods that I will need to pick up?
I unlocked about a month ago and have been having a great time.

It's been the most fun I've had in this game since the early days right after launch, you're going to love it!

Be sure to get a good group to help with Mell!
The trials are fun and easy, and the stickied guide at the top of the forums is helpful.
Be sure to get saber spin ASAP to help with the grind, and have fun!
Force Lightning is Powers 2000. Area lightning is 4000.
...and while i LOVE the idea of having "powers". I dont think its going to be fit into mytemp. Not until i get a rediculous saber anyway. Gunna go MLS instead.
