congrats! I finished my FS grind one night....old man was waiting for me when I logged in next day...so about 14 hours later.

Also, don't expect to be a jedi right away, you first need to do the exit quest of killing mellinche or however you spell his damn name, then you need to do the padawan trials, which depending on how lucky you are at finding certain mobs, can take a further 2-3 days.

first of all, you are nowhere near done, if u thought fs grind was long...you're in for a treat (but at least this one there's no phases to wait for)

but as for the old man, i just went home and logged outside my house for a day and when i came back within 2 minutes BAM there's the old man

you can also shuttlehop, wait a minute, then shuttle again for like a day but chances are he wont come any faster

You poor poor soul. Stop while you still can. The path of the force is long, winding, frustrating and not at all powerful.

Seriously, if you want to survive, you need to keep your Combat Level up, and not loose a bunch while you are a young paddy. You need to trade them off, slowly. Build up a branch, not across the tree. I believe three tier 4 skills keeps your CL at 80, and there by your level based hit ratios etc all in place. I was givein advice to get all the novice boxes, but since the group vis publish, I don't think this would be wise. I would personally suggest the two handed lightsaber line, then 0002 enhancer, then the aura line of defender, and go from there.

Mc learin offered some great advice ..

if your looking for a good PvP template.... I think your current temp is probaly more effective... but lets not go to that topic

and mostly just have fun being a Jedi

i just unlocked here in phase 2 and it took the full 3 days for the old fart to come... then paddy trials took me about 3 days (cause of trouble with internet) anyway i love that im finally jedi and congrats=)

the weirdest part about unlocking is now i have to not only worry about myself but worry about everyone else around me cause of vis... didnt realize how stressful it can be haha... anyway good luck.

nope sorry, hes over half way down the road.

36000 pickets to grind out FS xp.

28000 pickets to get full template jedi.

it takes less time to get to full temp than to jedi. this is after the combat xp nerf too btw.

Got to agree with you Ahrotahn, The Jedi grind is far more rewarding and fun than the FS one, at least you see some proper progression with the jedi grind.

Grats on getting your glow stick Kryptis, now you can experience the adrenalin rush the first time a BH comes for you, that was the most rewarding thing I found, beating the first one God did he get a shock when I popped out as a MBH/MCarb Jedi Healer 4000 hehe with a nice damage sliced Proton.

Best suggestion I can make is radar at 256m & if you think you might have gotten vis keep the overhead map up aswell, try to grind away from places like MO (you'll spend more time looking over your shoulder) and find some friendly jedi to grind with

And the double bladed line in LS is a must have for your intitial grind
