I believe so. The speed and accuracy alone make it worth it, but the ability to do a ranged nockdown is without paralell. That alone has saved me from many a bounty hunter. Drop them while on the run, and just keep running.

But it also means kiteing is going to be hard. You can only use one saber throw. And if you keep using Advanced Saber throw, you won't be able to plan a KD attack when you need it the most.

Who said anything about kiting? I'm talking about running and screaming PLEASEDONTKILLMEEEEEEEEE!!!

If you're going to fight, stand and fight. If you're going to kite, you picked the WRONG damn profession.

I have given this one alot of thought.

It isnt worth it. Its gives me about 30 more damage and a nice ranged KD. But it takes so very much in points.

My advice would be to take 2 lines of sabres and get a template that includes force speed. Force speed will get you more DPS than MLS ever could.

Say that to the MDefenders who are snared and don't have any type of lunge attack to reach a BH who has CM. That LS throw is all they got going for it.

What does that have to do with kiting?

if you have 4 pearlsthat are +110damage, than i say go for mls, but i suggest in getting force speed2 cause it helps out alot. I do around 800+ damage a hit in pvp with armor break and 589/685 damage cu-saber and all the bh's with out healing last 20 secs approx. 4-5 hits.

...It means the strategy for dealing with BH who snare with CM. And as a MLS has only one default attack for long range hits. Means you'll be KD'ing over and over, then when the right time to KD is there, you've already used the KD and got to wait for the timer.

MLS isn't worth it IMHO. The best master box for Jedi is probably Master Powers (and not because of the pearl situation) because of abilities such as Choke, Breach, Area Lightning. Those are some great stuff!

MLS is worth it, IMHO. The accuracy and speed bonuses are great, and the +25 saberblock is nice as well, though I think it should be higher (+35 at least)

About my only complaint is that we need more specials in the master box (advanced power attack for one), and we need a MIND regen debuff attack (head hit should do this).

Most of the deficincies will be solved when the pearl drops are fixed. Right now, I am at a definate disadvantage as a post-CU MLS to a Master Powers Jedi in PvP.

However, if pearl drops stay as they are, I could see myself dropping to LS 0/4/4/4 and switching to Master Defender...

But I do love MLS. It's the kind of Jedi I wanted to be, but we definately should be dealing more damage than we do. Getting within melee range of a MLS Jedi should be a virtual death sentance.

If Powers only had an armor break! Force Weaken would be ideal for such a thing, but it currently causes a snare for some reason.

Takea template that you will ENJOY.

The game is about fun so just try to have as much fun as possible.

I have master sabers because I have always wanted to be master sabers, back from when i was playing a friends jedi pre-12.

If it was viable I would take MLS/Mpowers, as I feel this is would be a template I could really enjoy and would fit my play style, though my current template also fits my play style, force armour and force run2 are very nice for me.

I would have to have force run2 If i took this template as I feel that as a jedi my character should be able to move fast.

Like i said before play a template that you will enjoy, (if i was going to take the mls.mpowersit would be supported with 4004 enhancer, but this would leave no healing OR defence, which is one of the main reasons i won't take this template. I like to heal)

I think both MP and MLS should have defuffs and recoveries in them, as the normal elite professions do.

Is MLS worth it? In short, no. IMO, none of the diciplines are worth mastering. Powers is a joke. I can have just as much inate armor w/ force armor so scratch defender. Healer is a joke. Master enhancer is maybe worth having if they ever took off the dmg reduction on force run b/c fr3 cost 500 force everytime you want to turn it on. MLS dervish doesn't do enough damage and has a super long cooldown timer.

I'm a firm believer in 1 master + dabbler is the way to go. Right now, I have MLS soley b/c I think its the best pick of the 5.
