Thread: No wonder the devs dont take jedi seriously!!!

Nice post bro. Overpopulation, the whiny nature of 95% of Jedi on the forums and in game and my desire to play my Jedi the way it was intended to be played are all reasons you don't see me playing Itrik much.
I grind once every 3 weeks. I don't wear or equip my robes or saber in public (EDIT: Before grinding I find a secluded spot to switch into my Jedi robes). I don't even wear a Jedi padawan tag. If more would do things that way, it'd go miles in changing peoples opinions, keep them from getting hunted so much (hence less whining). Calling for nerfs for any profession has to stop as well. I mean think of all the profs they've cried nerf for, I've seen:
Smuggler
Carbineer
Bounty Hunter
Rifleman
Combat Medic
Pistoleer
Doctor
forgot to add: and now Squad Leader.
Now tell me coupled with all the garbage in the first few paragraphs, how they wonder why 90% of the playerbase effing hates them with a burning passion?

If a player is not enjoying something they are quite within their right to discuss it with others feeling the same way, after all this game is supposed to be about enjoyment, and if so many people feel things arent right then well I would have to say something is wrong and needs to be conveyed to SOE for a fix to be implemented or a reason to why things are the way they are. But thats just IMHO
Good post and very well said, see this is the unique problem we have to endure together as jedi. Our profession attracts a bunch of wanna be uber heros, but not to be a hero to their faction, but rather a hero to their own egos, and so they are the first to cry about another jedi template that they are having trouble beating. We as jedi are the only profession that wrake each other over the coals, and flame each other, and all insist that this persons skills or that persons skills should be nerfed. Well news flash folks, they are listening to all of us so we all got nerfed.

No other profession does this to itself, why must we? Were jedi, were supposed to take it a step above everyone else, not discount ourselves into a bunch of self serving immature brats.

Well Turd what I was trying to say is some people have a valid reason for being on the jedi forums, I agree some people are just on here to cause trouble but some people are here for valid reasons trying to keep the integrity of the game. If the community never spoke up how would SOE ever know how to improve our game?

Agreed but, the ratio between the two is about 10-1 in favor of goofs calling for nerfs and whining as opposed to quality, valid and well thought out posts. And really if you had as much on your plate as the devs do, tell me you wouldn't get tired of having to wade through all those asnine posts to get to something worth reading. Hell, I have plenty of time to do that at work and I don't want wade through it all.
I totally agree with u man. I unlocked in early july and man, this is pathetic. Complain complain. Its emberassing to be a jedi cus all we do is whine. and the people who do read your post and "try" to speak againsed it, only see "OH GOSH HES FLAMING ME!" Just plain idiotic. they missed teh whole point of your post. and its normally those who are the whiners. but yeah. i totally agree with you.
We may be in the lead, but ive also been looking at the bh forums and, yeah, i think they are in second. they cry sploit in a heart beat also. just not as fast as us..which is a crying shame
