dont listen to this guy, as soon as you qualify for a new skill you go train it right away, you never know if a bh will come and kill you then you will have lost the xp to train that skill.
I disagree, by doing that you increase the total points spent in jedi and so when the bh catches up with you, you will lose more xp. I suggest to the op that you drop full skill trees 1st when your capped on xp and try and train up full trees. By doing that you lose cl more slowly. The benefits will be keeping a higher cl lvl, main downside will be less overall force so as Solobacca1 wrote, get channel to counter that.

i havent grinded xp in awhile even tho im redoing my template atm rofl....darn i lost my respec 
I'd say for starters u wanna get novice LS first...then get all the other novice boxes as fast as u can......after doing that you should probably shoot for 0044 ls....2000 healer....2002 enhancer...0020 or 0040 defender. i dont know what template u wanna go for so that could make this all change. but those are the recommended stuff to start..if u wanna get 4000 healer u could do that also but 2000 should be good for atm. if u dont like double bladed...u definetley wanna get 0020 tho for spin attack then just go for w/e saber style u like. but above all have fun "even tho grinding xp isnt fun" becuz u got a long road ahead of ya and if u arent enjoying it you will get frustrated.
