Uhm - sorry, but please do ask for info repeatedly before the coding is complete. The design documents that are being written before any piece of code is being implemented are supposed to be up for community review in the "In Concept" forum before any developer coding time is wasted on them, on public review to gather feedback. At least that is what your boss (Director of Community Relations for SOE) posted in these forums just recently.
Bug fixes do nothave design documents.

Give her a little break. Its weekend and she is posting in her free time (as far as I know) and she can only get the answers from the devs who obviously are not working currently.
Apart from that, yes, you are right, Tiggs did not answer anything, only vague answers giving without holding any solid yes / no / this is the way how statements, but this is at least more communication than we had for the past couple of weeks, and I hope she is really trying to improve communications now. If she is trying to, dont snap at her or she might not be willing to anymore. If she is not trying to actually improve communications but just trying to stall us, you can still bash her on monday or tuesday evening
Are you new? I don't give her a break not for one second. It's not like these questions came up on Friday and we are asking her for the answers today. She has had since fricking May to answer them. We are going on 6 months. She needs to either get off her butt and find the answers or stop posting this crap.
Now see, that is where we are in a catch-22. You ask for answers and I give you what I can. You want communication but then when I tell you what we know you get upset at me.
I refer to my above post. How long do paying customers have to wait for valid answers? These questions were all asked going on 6 months ago. Many people have stuck it out, those are the people here on the boards still asking these same questions. Can we please get some real answers before we all give up?
QFE,
Hows about the dev team turns off the Vissibility system till we have some answers, maybe not even fixes just that these are being looked at. Cause at the moment you aint giving us nothing and its not like you just saw these problems and we are being monsters to expect responses straight away. 6 Months we have waited, slightly less with the pearl/crystals but still too long.
And then you come in and act like we are expecting too much? That we expect you just to pull answers from the thin air. We arent, these arent new problems, and while I feel for smugglers, rangers, SquadLeadersand all the other nerfed professions they aint the ones getting forced into PvP. Take out the visibility system and I dont care if you take another 6 months to fix this, cause I will be having fun but as it stands fun = vissibility = instant death cause we are being out damaged, out healed, out tanked, out classed by a 2 week grinded MBH with a few million credits worth of equipment. So Fun has been killed.
Does that explain why these answers are a joke. Oh and on a side note get someone to fix Krayt Spawns on Bria and sort are compensation out Please.
I am not acting like you are expecting too much but I am trying to explain the situation.
Do you think we don't want to answer every question you folks have? We play this game too and would love to see bugs that we experience (like you) in game play fixed. There are priorities and with the amount of professions alone everyone isn't going to see motion in their profession over night let alone the game play not affected by professions. Basically what I am saying is when we don't have the information for you, all we can tell you is we will press on for it and follow up with our team. I for one will not tell you something is being worked on if it isn't.
The pearl information was updated as some of you have noticed. Yes, it is being worked on and I was notified of that. When will I have more specific information on it? Not until the coding is complete.

QFE, this is the same thing we have been told for months, nothing new to us.

shamless TC post.
Tiggs TC is down, can u check on an eta please?
You were able to follow DevTracker to this post, please use it to find out about Test Center's status. Your post is off topic and does not belong in this thread. Thanks
PS. there is no update on TC from any Dev since it went offline.

Here and rattling cages means the engineers are looking into it.

FRS No eta for this at this time.
- What is the status and ETA for this?
- Will there be a respec with the new FRS?
- Details....
Pearls/Lightsaber: Pearls are currently being worked on and I have no information on them yet.
- Is there any plan to change the way the current tuning system works?
- What is the ETA on getting premium pearls back?
- What is the ETA on a fix for the saber speed bugs?
- Will Dervish and Saber Slash ever get fixed?
Powers/Healer: All classes are constantly monitored for balance. I do not know what is up next but I can check on these.
- Is there any plans to take out the Zipbars from Weilder abilities?
- Will current Action/Mind costs from Healer and Powers be reduced?
- Will Powers be balanced with LS (ex. Item that increases dmg, reduces speed and force cost)?
- Will Healer get balanced with other healer classes?
Discipline There was a document being worked on and I will have to see how far along it is. Priorities shifted to ToW so this document may be incomplete.
- What is the specific role of each discipline?
- What is the specific role of Avoid Incap, Cloak, and Stasis?
- What is the future vision of each Discipline?
- Can the community get an explanation for the Visibility system from top to bottom. (not a bunch of guesses by us players, cold hard facts)
Answered what I could. I need to be in the office to check on the other questions.
poor girl, have to work from home

Introducing a new way for high-quality pearls to enter the game (since obviously they wont be dropping from easily farmable creatures anymore according to the last info the community got) is a very huge "bug fix" that is more on par with changing a fundamental game mechanic.
Shameless post: Props to Tiggs for telling us what little she can.
Now... all we need to do is get the Live team to tell Tiggs more. ![]()

I would love to see a list of bugs/priorities...filter out the ones that can't be used as exploits and what is the problem with sharing that info? would give us a place to look to see if the bug we found has been reported yet.
would give game testers a place to check and see oh yeah I know how to repeat that bug everytime maybe I should send in more info about it...
instead we are left in the dark to wonder if some launch day bugs are even on the radar anymore.

Maybe make an announcment about it if you have time. I wouldn't have looked in a thread titledTest Center Bug Thread - Wednesday October 19th to find info about the server crashing on Saturday, October 22nd. I won't post about it in this thread anymore though.

So what you are telling us is that they do not give you anymore information then they give to us? Can you tell us what is the best way to get the answers we are waiting for then? To be honest I don't think sitting and waiting for answers for 6 months, or two years in the case of other professions valid. Who is your boss Tiggs? Can we hear from him or her on the subjects posted in this thread?
