Using force powers in front of NPC's and Players will give you VIS, being that there is now to be now default attacks, this means any attack will gain you vis. this really needs addressing.

As the new so call default attack is indeed a special and will use force powers and there's no combat que so you can't stop attacking if an NPC or Player enters within the set 32 mtrs range!

I have it confirm'ed from a CSR that the default attack does not give VIS and in the new CU theres not default attack, and yes you can select one. But by using specials you gain VIS and the new default attack in the CU is always a specail!

Well I hope they change visability then, or since there is no combat queue any more, maybe a way to stop attacking.

someone told me you cant get vis for 3 weeks after you get padawan, but i had a BH after me 2 weeks later, so im no so sure...

Just use the No Vis method, then you can be sure.

Basically have group stand about 60m from lair. You run up and get 1 hit in with LS, and pull mob back to group. You get full xp and no vis.

Rinse/repeat until you can solo or don't care about Vis.

Well, most bh's wont come for you until you're worth 50k or more, otherwise they can take super easy npc missions that they know wont go running into a house. Get yourself a "Mobile" home to place/redeed at each lair, put your guild/group on entry and any time you see a bh coming, run into the house if you don't want to fight. During double xp week, I went from novice all to MLS without much difficulty. I also have heals up to 1k a heal, as well as the ability to transfer force. It works great for those in the group that have next to no force, and I've got 3/4, might as well give em a little so they can continue on with the lair.

if you acrue too much visibility, one BH death wont get you off the terminals. With the number of BH's I've killed in the past few days, I wouldn't be surprised if I'm currently capped on vis with 2 missions out on me, ready to kill off more BH's until I get one good enough to kill me. I've taken down some of the best BH's on my server already, and hopefully after I get channel, I'll be getting close to unbeatable to a bh 1v1. Then I'll start working on defender for those 2-3 man BH squads that like to gank everyone. Fortunately enough, I'm one of the mature jedi on my server and even the LJK's have respect enough for me to not send their guild in on me to gank me several times in a day.

Anyhow, your best method is to grind with a group with a safehouse. If you are unfortunate enough to die, be very respectful to the person who killed you, tell them it was a good, fair kill, and that you'd like to give them more of a challenge when you're further ahead in your template. I guarantee they will give you the opportunity to gain a little more value before they come after you. This little pud named Elektra on my server got me when I was a 50k mission, then she came back at me now that I'm a 119k mission, she thought I was afk when she attacked me. I leveled her in under a minute and db'd her with my macro that says "No cookie for you." Then, I got attacked by some BH and his probot... sad thing is, the probot lasted longer than the BH...

okay so you are saying that I get one week free with out visiblility?

2 of my friends unlocked last Wed. They Powergrinded through double exp week. They were NOT on the terminals through tonight and they fought in groups all week and used powers all over. This is a theory but with 2 jedi the same thing. Its a pretty safe bet.

hope it works for you also, so you can be better than the Jedi that got ganked every day, and hid and hid and hid until they got rooted and killed by 3 peeps vs 1

There is no free visibility period as far as I've noticed, however, no one will probably touch your mission until you are at least worth 50k, I didn't get my first BH until I was worth 56k. Just make sure you keep your sp in jedi at a minimum, have novice healer so you can heal while you run, and have a safehouse near. A BH wont waste his time camping that low of a payout for long. After he drops your mission, feel free to come out and grind until the next one comes along. This should work fine for you.

Me on the other hand? I'll just duck in for cover and whenever I get npc's on me, then it's back to the BH to give him a little... i don't know, taste of death..
