I know my post doesn't have much merit. I became jedi just a few days ago. and yes, I was aware that NPC's would cause me vis. However, I didn't realize the consequences. I was hoping to be able to do the Vette, NK, Avatar etc with my guild members. And now I realized I can't if I don't want to get on the boards. Mind you, my CL is only 40 right now. Yet, to be able to do this stuff with guildies, I feel like I have to die to be able to enjoy the game. I am accepting of my fate. I won't give up more than 0040 Dancer, and yes, my CL will still be 80, but my abilities will be limited, and thus I expect to die a lot. But to limit my play to only lairs out in the middle of nowhere, just because I'd rather not have vis?

I do not do anything special with my powers. And I don't even care to run around in my robes or anything, I just wanted it for myself, not to show off. But I can't even use it .

you cant tell me that youve played as long as you have and didnt know that jedi got hunted from Bhers and STILL went jedi.


bad excuse. really bad. anyone whols played more then 4 months SHOULD know that jedi get hunted.

i wanted it for my self as well. not for pvp(minus a small undertaking to improve the game on my sever)but for fun. im not building my jedi to be uber and crush all who come for me. im building it for survival and fun.

getting hunted is part of jedi. its the one thing that does stick to canon. jedi were being hunting in canon and they are in game at this time. common we cant ignore ALL the starwar lore.

pls. ppl that vote for this only want to be pansies and pve. sure i love doing things and PvE as much as the next person .....but like grinding it gets boring after a while. can only do the same things every so often. BH's mix things up, make it excting at least for me.

ill say what ive seen a few say before. if you want to play jedi and not be hunted to the RotS on ps2 or xbox. all jedi no hunting, and you can still slaughter everyone abd be uber.

Actually it's not, however many people throughout this thread have stated the same, because it is true.

And i have only pointed out the obvious, if your "alt" is so much more powerful than your Jedi, why would you bother taking your Jedi to the boss loot places ?

This may be the underlying complaint that they have.

Why is their alt more effective atm than their Jedi?

Why is there a downside to playing a toon that does not have a corresponding upside?

Why are BH the only combat profession rewarded with profession specific content for a template that takes a week at best?

In other words why did they have to grind so long for a toon that gives them less play options and effectiveness than a normal profession?
