on another note... I want to see the perma overt gone and make jedi knights attackalble to dark jedi knights and visaversa...



Also there is supposed to be a secret war between 2 religious foundations... Jedi vs Sith... Peace vs Power... Justice vs Destruction...



Why oh Why is the whole FRS even put into the GCW... We jedi should be seperate with the choice to choose a side like every player... except where Jedi are welcomed in the Rebellion but must hide if they join the Imperial and Dark Jedi are "Tolerate" by the imperials but hated by the rebellion...


Most of all I want to see the FRS jedi vs sith rather then Rebel vs Imp...

Don't try to make a new FRS system SOE devs would just screw it up even more, there is a simple way of fixing the current system:

remove the daily upkeep OR remove the death penalty - in my personal opinion jedi should not be punished at all for dieing, they should still gain XP, but less then the winner.



p.s: about the FRS XP, you need to kill jedi around your level to advance faster, as you advance you get a lot more XP for higher ranked jedi - the amount of XP gained at each level should be revised also.

I read some rumors and i could'nt stop thinking about it. I tried to put it togheter how it would work, lets see if you ppl like it, here the upgraded version of how i would fix FRS.




Dark Jedi and Light jedi would be given of their own faction.

All ranked FRS Jedi would have to pay maintance in FRS XP, but no Jedi would loose any FRS for dieing to an opposing faction Jedi.

All Jedi would loose FRS XP for dieing to non-jedi players.


Dark Jedi would be able to attacks any PvP enabled players, rebel, imperial, Light Jedi.

Dark Jedi would be attackable for any PvP enabled faction and BH's.

Dark Jedi would be able to join Imperial Faction and become "allied" with them.

Dark Jedi Knights would be able to advance in their ranking by ONLY challenging each other - the loser would not loose FRS XP, but still gain a small amount, but the winner would be able to step up in ranks.

Dark Jedi Knights would gain FRS after killing Light Jedi.



Light Jedi would not be able to attack any PvP enabled players, but Dark Jedi and any PvP enbled imperials or BH AFTER they have attacked the Light Jedi.

Light Jedi would be attackable for PvP enabled imperials and BH's.

Light Jedi would be able to join the Rebel Faction and become allied and become able to attack PvP enabled imperials, but would loose a very small amount FRS XP if Deathblows any non-jedi.

Light Jedi would be able to advance in their ranking ONLY by voting among them.

Dark Jedi would gain FRS XP after killing a Dark Jedi.





I think this would be Star Wars like.

I can just hope you all like it and somebody will listen to me.

i think that channel force should be given at padawan...seeing as its something all jedi should be able to do...add a more advanced channel force in the enhancer tree and give knights fr2 when they get to that point (if they dont have it already) this would help jedi be more balanced


i also think that master force powers should have force meditate and drain at master...come on now master force powers!

if the devs made songouki's idea live, there would be appr. a hundred jedi masters for tomorrow.

5K xp for a jedi? you almost get that much as a higher rank. Like if a rank7 cuts a rank 7 they get around 3-4K.

i think the problem is not the amount of XP what has to be gained to level up. The problem is that the ranked jedi are not really forced to fight each other. i think the devs should seperate them from the WCG and should do some changes regarding those mods what shonguoki was talking about. i've read a nice idea, its name was "light side vs. dark side" if i'm right. The guy told that the jedi would getFR xpbonuses if they fighted near a POI, and the incap would be enough for the winning...and his idead about the master-apprantice relationship was also good. These should be done.

Well with the legalization of farming and fight clubs. The pathetic and lamers will go right threw the FRS and the legit players will get screwed. 5k xp a kill would be nice if SOE would enforce the original rules they laid out. But they won't and have demonstrated they won't by giving in and allowing it.


Enjoy the FRS. Its all gone to the lamers and jebays.


Not that I don't like the idea's honestly its what we've been saying all along since the first Revamp. To bad though it has taken this long to be posted and brought them. So long in fact that SOE goes and gives in to lame playstyles and makes this profession look more like a$$ then it already has been made out like.

Why do they even offer a FRS if it is something you cannot attain by playing the game in a reasonable way just out there pvping?


Make it readily attanable by the avg 4 hr a day player. Get the councils filled up and let us have some fun.

Add a terminal in the Enclaves which gives out missions on Bounty Hunters that have killed Jedi.


The Jedi council put bounties on BH that killed their own.


This would add more content for FRS Jedi.


Why is the BH content one-way?

Some of these ideas for revamping the FRS system are GREAT!

But for now.... it SERIOUSLY needs to be disabled. Other combat professions can't grind in safety. Why should Jedi? Granted, they've earned the status and abilities of this profession, but...

DISABLE THE FRS UNTIL IT CAN GET FIXED!

and prehaps if we only loose FRS from fellow jedi/Bh's and Bh's need to have mission. its not cool to loose like 800 frs atm when a regular player kills you in pvp. yet you gain none from them when you kill them. it really sucks.

When/if this changes ever happen i say we also push for a one time reaccolation of the skill points at the knight level only


Most of the dark jedi are enhancers since force wielder is broken.... Also if the power mod should increase the lightsaber attacks because it is an offensive force move like you say. Enhancers would be able to use forcefeedback and other moves such as this to inflict damage apon thier opponet. Which would make the enhancer tree all that more stacked against other jedi.

OK I just have to put in my two credits on the FRS. Personally once I finish grinding out my template I have absolutely no intention of joining the FRS as it is now for a couple reasons:

1) I have no desire to open myself up to attack by any member of the opposing faction simply to Advance past the padawan stage.

2) I believe that the FRS as set up currently is acomplete contradicition in what the developers have "envisioned" the jedi to be in this game. Case in point Jedi aren't suppose to be "seen" very often and yet as the ONLY Perma-Overt profession in the game they were instintly put into the very center of the GCW (does that make any sense to anyone?)


So I'm sure that people have made lots of suggestions and ideas on how to overhaul the FRS but here's my idea too... for what it's worth.


Why not take out the perma overt aspect to the Jedi Knight and instead turn the FRS into a "guild war" of sorts. If you think about it the mechanics are already there for this to work. Once you complete the Knight Trials you are enrolled in the "Jedi guild" of your chosing be it light or dark at that point any jedi of the opposing faction are open targets to you and you are an open target to them. For additional content for the FRS enabled Jedi the Sentinels that guard the Enclaves could be used to give missions on specific Jedi that would earn the mission taker additional FRS xp. For example if a particular Jedi Knight is having a great deal of success in the FRS the Sentinels could sense this as a "disturbance" in the force and senda Knight from thier enclave out to take care of that Jedi. ( Yeah Yeah I understand that it's a rehashofthe Bounty Hunter system, but keeping it within the Jedi ranks could make it more interesting.) The Jedi could use droids similar to the Bounty Hunter Droidsin order to find their target (since the only time seeker droids were ever seen in the movies was when Darth Maul used them to track down the Jedi on Tatooine this makes since).


To avoid ganking of Jedi Knights there could only be 1 or 2 jedi that could take the mission at a time. The only time that 2 Jedi could take a mission on the same Jedi of the opposite "guild"(faction, or whatever you want to call it) was if they were lower in FRS rank then the jedi being targeted (this also has presedence as Obi-wan and Anakin both went after Dooku. But when Yoda showed up it was a one on one fight) So if you took a mission on a jedi of the same ranking as yourself it would be one on one. i.e. two rank 2 jedi notice that a rank 5 jedi has been causing problems with their side of the force so they decide to try to assist thier side by taking out this jedi. However if another rank 5 jedi took the same "mission"he would be the only one able to deal with that "rogue" Jedi.


Also once a Jedi entered the FRS they wouldn't gain visability on the BH terminals as it would be deemed that those Jedi would be dealt w/ by the opposing factions enclave. Padawans would still be open targets for BH's though. Also Jedi xp loss would only be experienced by Padawan learners (and only if they were taken out by a BH no more xp loss upon cloning since the xp lost by BH attacking you is usually a pretty big hit for a padawan as is).


Anyway this is just a couple idea that I thought could make the FRS and overall Jedi game play more interesting.
