i found a pair of sith outlaws and killed them but looted nothing but the ore does that mean they were not mine cause i thought they drop a data disk or something

Ok.. I was just told by someone that all you need to do to unlock is unlock 6 branches.(6 quests), and NOT getting all 4 boxes in each. I thought previously you had to get 6 branches, and grind out the xp for each.. can anyone confirm/reject this?

check the spatial chat, they will call you by name before attacking

You have to grind out the xp if you aren't awarded any free branches, for hologrinders and post-9's every branch they unlock without a quest they fill with xp, all 4 boxes per branch awarded.

Im a post9 unlocker and started out the village quest but then realized i didnt have to do them and learned all i needed to do was get my training and wait. My questions are


1) after getting 6 lines do i have to wait infront of the Village or can i just go back to my business?

2) since i started a patrol quest will this effect my visit from the oldman again?

Some additonal qestions / information:



  1. Do you have to master any area? I've got all the combat branches thinking we had to (Like an Idiot, I got ranged Speed and accuracy... I'm TKM )

  2. Any way to redo Trees? (Probably not, but I thought I'd ask.)

  3. Tip: Doing the patrol quest make sure you have room in your data pad for the 8 waypoints

  4. Tip: DO NOT convert XP until you've gotten your "freebies" (goodbye 150k of combat XP )

  5. TIP: I think it was previously mentioned, vehicle at full mantance... it will take a beating if doing the patol missions.

I honestly can't remember, I will try to find out and post it here. Since I learned all my trees I think that option disapeared.

Lets say today I unlocked a phase 2 tree branch. Theres also another branch in phase 2 I want to do that has yet to be unlocked.


When phase 2 hits, will one be able to do the already unlocked branch quest just for the reward (branch already unlocked)AND the yet to be unlocked branch?
