I decided to take a short break from grinding and check out TC2 and the new quest system for force sensative skills. They have a really nice system set up to start. You can go to star port where they have charactor builder terminals that give you any skills you want, credits, vehicles, weapons, armor, etc. Made myself a Master TKA, Master Pistoleer, and Master Brawler. Everyone that creates a charactor on TC2 has been qualified to start the force sensative quests.

Since the Village is on Dathimer at 5249 -4211 I thought Dath would be a good place to start. On my way out to the village I seen a camp with a fire in the middle of no where. I stopped to check it out and then an old man appeared. Using my name he tells me he has an important matter to discuss with me. He said that he has been wanting to talk with me for a while and asked if I ever felt that I was connected to the force. I said yes and he gives me a Crystal. This crystal also seems to be a journal. However you can't open the journal through the inventory yet so I used a command /ui action displayJournal and that opened it up.

I then proceeded to head to the village thinking cool, this has started off really good so far. But once I got to the village there is an invisible wall that blocks me from entering and it says that I'm not ready yet. I think ok, so I need to do something else.

I then relogged and after about a minute, 2 npcs called Sith Shadows spawned. Using my name they demanded that I give them the crystal and started attacking me. I killed them off and then looted them. I got 2 "Shadowy Datapads". I used one and it gave me a waypoint to go investagate at.

I arrive at the waypoint to find a camp with more of these NPc's called Shadow Pirates. They started attacking me and I killed them off and looted another "Shadowy Datapad". I use this one and it reads of orders to investagate this planet, specifically the outpost. It then gives me a waypoint leading into the Science Outpost.

I then fly to the Science Outpost where there is a NPC named Jamilla Tabadi. She follows me around but when I try to talk to her she says we have nothing to discuss. It seems this part is bugged. When they fix this part I'll go back and continue getting more info to post here.

Dude, you really need to stop trying to interpret what we're saying and just take it for what's it's worth. Every single one of your assumptions about me is incorrect. I never once in any way indicated that I was assuming you thought your character should be competitive with a jedi.

And by the way, you're not going to impress me with all your big words. I can still understand what you're saying. So if you're assuming that I am at a lower intellect than you and am lost in your profuse egotistical display of the English language ... you would again be incorrect.

I recommend your own top two sentences there in regards to me. You've decided since I did not want to grind through certain professions that I am looking for the easier way out. Your snide comment concerning taking out me and some 19 others along with me would be where I get the impression concerning character competitiveness.

And my language is not to impress you or anyone else, I write I like I talk.

/sigh Read my whole post (including the part that you left out above) word for word and take each word for it's literal meaning and you will see that I already clarified myself before you made the above highlighted statement. My comment was snide, yes (I'm sure all your comments have been full of love, joy, peace, unity, and goodwill though, right?) but to pull as much as you did out of that one sentence just boggles me. There's not even that much of a connection between what it says and your interpretation.

And keep in mind that generally when I get into a debate, I do not tend to argue with an individual but more with a general attitude expressed by a group of people, though many times only 1 person will continue to debate. This sometimes gives the false impression that I am arguing with only one person. This is not so. I am not debating with murphy7, I am debating with the point of view that he expresses that is shared by a group. Usually, if I address an individual, I say their name, not always, but usually.

Very brief question: do any of you know if Pre-Pub 9 Jedis can do anything at the village? Is there any content for us there? I'm bored of killing Mereks in the middle of nowhere?

Awsome info, I wish more people would post things like this instead of bickering constantly.

Wow, what a useless thread!!!

I checked this out to try to get some info on the FS Quest and guess what. It's like every other thread, nothing but bickering and whining. /sigh

AtrusAtreides's post is the only usefull one I've seen. It's really sad that people only use the forums so that they can whine to even more people.

You didn't work for anything, fellow. You were sitting in front of your computer playing a game. I understand what you are getting at: that your time investment is important to you. But to pass off your choices in time management as the worthier path, than that of the person who only has 5-8 hours a week to play a computer game must be too lazy to merit a shot at a Jedi is almost patently ludicrous enough to keep from being insulting.

So let's pretend if I can only work in real life (for people with misunderstanding this is an example and i have full time job) for 5-8 hours a week i am lazy and got salary less than you do? Seems not fair to me if we take your example in consideration

If you didn't understand my example i'll rephrase it, why do you think you have to spend less amount of time to achieve something when it took twice as more time for someone else only because you can't devote more time to the game ?

And it is same work as you do in real life, so saying he worked for nothing is as stupid as saying you are more worthy to be someone than him. It's not only time, it's intellectual work he does while "playing the game", communicating with others to get tools and goods to help him achieve his goal, finding better ways to do it faster or more efficient than others and so on.

If you got something as present/gift = you havent worked for it.

If you spent your human resources etc.for something to archive your goal = you worked for it the same way you do for to gain anything in life.

Sadly you misunderstand work in whole. That's usual when people think games only made for you not doing anything and get everything Even reading a book grants you knowledge but you have to read it through first (in other words do the work with your eyes and mind)
