hi, once i heard that they wanted to make this game as much like the movie as possible, but they have lost it in the paths of money, i was looking at a film review magazine and on the front cover, Anakin is wearing a ubese style shirt, thats black all over. So to make this game a bit more like the game, why dont they allow jedi to be like jedi from the film and wear ubese style jackets? unless they lost the thought of making it like a film, thanks for your time in reading, sorry if it wasted it or if im wrong, bye
You talking about the silly jacket he was wearing in AOTC with the gigantic shoulder pads? hehe. That didn't look Ubese to me, it looked simply like a style of clothing.
It didn't stop him from getting his arm cut off now did it?
Luke did actually invent armor in the EU to be worn by Jedi, you could equate it to our latest technology in very light/flexible Kevlar that is "resistant" to knife attacks. Some Police offers wear the gloves, it's like a kevlar weave that will prevent slashing/stabbing attacks from breaking the skin.
But he designs the armor to specifically to resist the Vhong's slashing weapons and he had to compromise on the protection to keep it as flexible as the loose fitting clothes he and his Jedi wore during those times. And we're not to that point in the timeline yet. At that point the war between the imperials and the rebels is over. The Imperials control only a few star systems and there is an uneasy peace/alliance between the imperials and the rebels.
They eventually ban together to defeat the Vhong invasion.
After that I quit reading the books because they became uninteresting. hehe

Personally I wish they'd design a closed-front-hood-up and closed-front-hood-down cloak that uses the head slot to cover up those hideous Jedi robes they have in the game. They're extremely ugly and do not adapt well from the screen to the game.
Now Maul's robes would rock, because his robes were designed more centered on the traditional karate Gi, and therefore look pretty cool, and not so fairy like as what we have now.
(Ok yes, I said it, the Jedi robes in the game look like something a very poor dressing gay man might wear.)
PSG's don't protect against Lightsabers, only RANGED energy attack (and no, Saber Throw is not considered a ranged attack)

seriously though, pre-CU, there were bugs where armorsmiths could make personal shield generators with lightsaber resist back when lightsaber damage was called 'lightsaber' rather than heat, cold, acid, electricity, kinetic, and energy.

What's your point? He was talking about post CU, not pre CU. Did you know that Probots were the bestdroids to use when the game first launched? Or thatwhen you died, you had torun to get to yourcorpse? And that Tantel also had LS resist on it to?/rolleyes
