Thread: Are there any other MMORPG out there that are like SWG used to be?
From what i have seen... NO.
SWG was one of a kind with the skill builder and complicated crafting.

but: best pvp game... by far... is DAoC. no one comes close.
best crafting system: EQ2.

QFE. There's no game that can compare to Planetside's PvP. THAT is how it is done.
Saga of ryzom lets you train all the professions and use them based on what weapon you have equiped, but its dev team is *cough*
after 12 weeks of not being able to wear armor I gave up lol

Well.. as far as Combat goes..
My friend plays WoW and he always tells me about his fights and stuff he gets in, they sound really really awesome. He plays on a PvP Server where it's constantly Horde against the Alliance. He's really good and he always tells me about how he fought 2v1 and owned them and everything. He said it's very fast paced and fun.
So, I guess it's not really like SWG, but, WoW has a really good Combat System, like SWG used to.
