Thread: Cloak should be moved to Jedi Initiate

Make it so you cannot loot/open, converse, or assist others without it breaking. Make it so you don't get aggro'd by everything while cloaked as well. Just make sure that Force Weaken gets a little more umph added to it. Easy solution that benefits all Jedi. Think of it as a reward forunlocking yourJedi.
Don't care about continuity, blah blah blah. That was kicked to the curb long ago. As far as BH having more trouble killing their marks....................WHO CARES. If people are going to be forced to pvp, at least give them an opportunity to escape. I mean if a BH comes for me and at the same time I get an important phone call, I should be able to take that call without having to deal with losing xp.
All Jedi should have force cloak, it is probably the most fun skill this game has to offer and nobody should have to gimp themselves in order to have it.Most of us havegrinded many professions, millions upon millions of xp, and pay close to $15 a month; we deserve to have fun.
Oh, if you disagree with this and you MUST post a response, please be civil and explain why you think it is such a bad idea. A simple NO or S T F U will not help me to see the error of my ways. Thank you.

Interesting suggestion.
I'll go one better. Move all Skills to the initiate Box. Then give the improved and advanced levels in box 2 and 4 in each tree with support mods in 1 and 3. At master you get an elite level of that skill.
No just kidding, I would like to see more skills given at the initiate box. As far as cloak i think it should have three levels not just the one at the 4th level box.
Perhaps granted in the second tier would be basic, the same one granted where it is and at master the advanced version. The changes would be force drain, distance you need to cloak and the amount of skills you can use while cloaked.

i think cloak should be a skill you have to learn, but this is something ive thought would be best. a jedi youngling and padawan is trained many things, skills all jedis have. a jedi initiate should have basic lightsaber skills, defender skills, etc, enough to actually be moderately strong. they should have a basis of everything and then fine tune what they want to excel in. flame if you want, but this would be realistic and makes a lot of sense

Not at all, I honestly don't think cloak is worth being a tier 4 skill. That spot can most certainly be replaced by a skill that will help Force Weilders deal more damage.

rofl, Drugs are bad for you kid... What about giving us Avoid Incap? All jedi should have it right? humm FR3??

Those honestly have nothing to do with this discussion. Giving some one an inch does not mean that you are giving them a mile. Not sure why Jedi are so negative towards their own profession, unless they really are not Jedi to begin with. Bounty Hunters trolling our forums trying to crush any idea that does not benefit them..........probably so. Many Jedi have Bounty Hunters and just as many Bounty Hunters have Jedi, your true allegiance always shows.

rofl..... me a BH? Yes I was once.. Dude Cloak is awsome, and only Powers jedi should have it.. Why? Because we spend skill points for it.. same as force run, armorbreak, aura etc... Jedi is fine the way it is(sure healers+weilders can use soem love) But we dont need anymore power...(remember there are other professions out there too.)

worst idea ever, do you think anyone would even bother going master powers if cloak was an initiate skill? hell no they wouldn't thats the best special a powers jedi has.

So why not increase the effectiveness of Master Powers as well? Why would anyone in their right mind ask for a skill in their profession to be moved from tier 4 to master? I choose to ask for things that make the entire profession more fun, there is absolutely no way to make it a challenge, so why not have fun. Is this not a game?

If any move is to be made it should be to MDef, as cloak is almost exactly like an AI.
With area KD, all it takes is a burstrun/parawan/FR, and you are gone.

I think hundreds of cloaked jedi running around would ruin the game, I see your point about the afk getting killed thing, just do a /logout wait for 30secs and a bh can't get you. Force cloak is a fun skill I agree but moving it to the initiate box is a bit silly, It's a tier 4 skill and you can't give the most fun skill in the gamefor free like that.

Yeah I see what you are saying, but it is not for free. As it stands now, it is much harder to get Jedi than it is to complete your template. So you are not getting it for free, but as a reward for getting your Jedi. Honestly, after all the hard work of unlocking, the first time you actually play your Jedi you feel a little short changed.
