Thread: Baciacca, any ETA on when the Cloak snare will be implemented?

How long (approximately) do we have left until a snare is applied for Force Cloak? Are we talking a few months or a matter of 2-3 weeks?
A BH came for me last night while we were out grinding. He was spotted in time so I was able to distance myself from the lair and Cloak before he closed the distance and attacked. At first we were unsure who he was coming for. (I don't use the /duel, /endduel method to check... spamming other players with that isn't cool). After a few minutes of waiting, he made his move and walked over to where I was (I was still standing away from the main group). I then moved around a little, and sure enough he stuck with me. OK, so that was enough proof that I was his target.
As I'm not full template yet and am missing 2 key skill boxes, I opted to run away rather than stand and fight. Force Cloak combined with Force Run allowed me to do this. Clearly this will not be possible once the Cloak Nerf hits. When the Cloak Nerf hits, I can still Cloak but my understanding is I won't be able to get away... a BH can just stick with me and wait until my Force pool drains. Force Run would be overridden by the Cloak snare (is this correct?). I'm sure Burst Run would be overridden as well (besides any BH worth his salt could outlast my Burst Run any day of the week).
So, I'm basically asking how much time I have left before I must finish my template and be able to stand and fight, as my options to run away will be... limited.

Cloak, go away from lair (yellow drop area), unpack a house from datapad where it is green on your "placescreen", eneter house, uncloak.

But in the above example, he had no TEF since he was cloaking BEFORE attacked.
WITH the TEF you drop the house on top of you, breaking the line of sight this way (not ALWAYS working).
Cancel the last statement, this is an exploit...naughty naughty youngling. I dont like exploiting this way, i rather would see you L64 youngling fighting the fulltemplate/fullgear L80 BH /sarcasm off.
Did i mentioned that XP loss needs to be removed from the game, to get rid of this annoying hatred on ther servers ?

Ok, just incase you guys/gals didn't know this Cloak change was going to be done with the ranger revamp. Devs have stated that revamp will be at the earliest December and more than likely next year. They can't change Cloak until the Ranger fixes come in because the Cloak changes are based on that new system.
Plenty of time to finish your template. Besides from what I understand the change (as it's stated now) would actually benefit you more since a BH would not be able to follow or track by droid. Doesn't matter if you're snared, from the sounds of it the skill can only be used in this manner....definetly not a first strike skill with a snare. Something in the back of my head is telling me that Cloak will probably not work while you are fighting....call me crazy but I can see that being the next announcedchange. But as I said, we have a long time before this revamp is in game.

I got hunted yesterday and tried to place house , u cant under your current state. But if u are quick enough, and gain about 200 yards on the bh, youcan drop it uncloacked and cloak again , but u gotta be quick lol.
