Thread: Despite what elder jedi think, SOE isn't going to grief 95% of their playerbase to accomodate 5%.
I dont know who pissed in your cornflakes this morning, but yea the nerf on pearls is just more toilet politics and they will most likely let you loot more premium pearls ONLY if you buy their new release coming out soon. That is how they usualy get releases sold, nerf something then give it back to you or its equivilant if you buy their new worthless release.
And yes, older Jedi who only want the best pearls for themselves suck monkey nuts. Reset all pearls to good status and give everyone a fair chance or just let the new guys play the game like we did.
The only way to curb jedi is to remove it from the game, and the only way to make this game better is for everyone to quit it so SOE and Lucas will actually try to make the game better or hollywood will stop trying to be gamers. They suck at it.
first off the jedi pre cu had it tougher then this new lot of jedi do, secondly why do post CU jedi think everything should handed to them on a silver platter?
did post CU jedi hunt krayts for hours when they had 350k HAM ?
did post CU jedi recievexp loss from cloning and then there is theclone camping?
did post cu jedi have the luxury on BH's picking their specific mission whenever they were on the terminals?
did post cu jedigrind ALONE for fear of visibility?
did post cu jedi have to encounter BH gank squads back when BH tef was active?
I can go into more details, but explain why the post cu jedi expect things they dont work for? Hate to be an @ss but seriously its that kind of crap that aggravates me. NONE of those post cu jedi have had the dealings with the points i made above so they have no right to critisize the pre cu jedi or beg for free gimmies.
to the post cu jedi that keep it real, though, my hats off to you.

give a newer cu player same template and weapons as a pre cu player and watch who wins...
in short what competition? pvp isa jokeas is most of everything else thats been created after the combat upgrade hit live

My question to all these "veteren jedi" (sorry, as someone who started online gaming with Gemstone III 15 years ago, veterans in a 2 year old game just seems silly) is this.
What is it you're hoping to accomplish by fighting the restoral of pearls? My best guess is that you guys don't like competition, and just want to be able to straight outdamage everyone else in the game by 200 points, as some kind of reward for being here since before the CU (which was 6 months ago, wow 6 month veterans how special)
And to the new jedis, and new players in general don't let the "vets" panic you. With enough Feedback on the subject, and it will take a LOT of feedback through all possible venues, as this is really the only way to reach gaming companies, crystals will be restored, and the players who deserve to excel will.
Unfotunetly you cannot stop us. In they're eyes they did the hard grind and got things the old way. WHich is entirley true, I am a pre-cu jedi and I got mls 2 days before cu hit. It was the worst experiance ever from going to apsalute power, to nothing but a guy with a glowystick.
Fair trade - you do the hard grind (which I did) you get the uber sabers. I never had the chance to tune a premium so my saber damamge is even close to uber...
In the end, no one truly wins.
