This means that you'll have to make your own tools. No more buying +15.00 tools from people like me.

Is this old news? I didn't see it in the front page of the jedi forum (which probably represents the last 5 minutes of discussion )

As a merchant (who doesn't even play my jedi), this sucks. As a jedi, it must suck more...


Edit: New testing by Garanor indicates the following:
1) When you create a LS tool, you can drop them in any structure you have admin rights to, whether you own it or not. Other players who have admin rights can pick them up. You can offer them to vendors. You can sell them on vendors. Other players can buy them from vendors.

2) They become No Trade when you select a schematic to begin the crafting process. Once they are no trade you cannot drop them in a house or structure that you do not own, regardless of whether or not you have admin rights. You can only drop them in a structure you own, declared residence or otherwise. Other players who have admin rights to your structure cannot pick these items up. They cannot be offered to vendors.

Still a question about LS tool schematics (and also about ADK's which someone reported as having similar issues).

Can you still buy them off vendors ? By the way I got tools already.

Makes sense really if you think about it carefully. I mean how would anyone not trained in the Jedi arts know how to make tools too craft lightsabers?

My understanding is that tools made pre-24 can be bought off a vendor and used. Once they're used once, they're no longer tradeable. Tools made post-24 can't be traded. So for the short term, you may be ok, until all the tools made pre-24 have been used. Then you'll be stuck making your own.

So everyone should go now and buy a pre-24 +15.00 tool (or a few thousand) to hoard until the price goes up...

erm. If you think about it carefully it would dawn on you that the people making/selling the tools are jedi.

I didn't say I agreed or disagreedwith selling/trading the tools, was just pointing out that only jedi can make them for that guy.

only jedi can craft and use them!! so when did you buy your account??

no I read it andI as said only jedi can craft them, OH and FYI , yes one of my alt is master merchant also did you read the post I replied to think not
