Be prepared to forget any hopes or dreams you may have had about being good at PvP. They are saying the basically arent going to fix pearls. so we are stuck with the crappy ones. Thanks SOE!!!!!!! I think maybe they are trying to make jedi suck. Im gonna write a letter to lucas or somthing. SOE needs to think about the pre-cu jedis with the perfect tuned all sabers fighting against the new post CU "crap pearl" generation. BOHICA Jedis.

Did we read the same post? The one that said, "The possible stats that a pearl can give you are the same, regardless of the pearl quality. The only advantage a "premium" pearl gives you is a better chance of getting higher stats. " To me, this says that I'm just going to need alot more tunes, but it is still possible to get good pearls/crystals. I know, it's easier to come here and ignore the facts and post some mindless rant about SOE and threaten to write letters to everyone under the sun, but the fact of the matter is, you're just going to have to work alot harder if you want to get great pearls/crystals. Guess it's time to go farming...

Yeh. But I have to tune about 4 times as many to get a good tune

you left out having to kill a level 287 beast to even have a chance at a decent one. And i dont think anyone group can kill enough level 287 beasts in a lifetime to get one pearl. we are screwed, game over.

You all have no idea how many premiums I tossed to the side pre-cu just to get some decent tunes. Everyone acts like a premium pearl is a guaranteed "perfect" tune. They weren't before, they aren't now. SO if you have to tune 4x as many "goods" to get decent tunes what's the issue? The drop rate is pretty good andKrayt's are 10x easier to kill post-cu than pre-cu. So get off your butt and hunt some Krayts. Jedi is not easy. We have to work for what we get.

Pretty much. We post-CU full template jedi are good at PvE, but suck at PvP vs elder Jedi.

where do those of us who did 1/2 template precu and 1/2 template post cu fit in? i got a half decent saber (675)

Well you should technically.We know the profession a little better. We were in the FRS, pvp was mandatory. Youhad to learn how to fight, you were perma-overt. There was no going back to the recruiter and going "on-leave" or combatant. PvP is not all about your weapon. There are other variables.

Considering that you are allowed to wield a machine gun (pre-CU saber, pre-CU pearls) against my knife (post CU MLS 4th gen, post CU pearls), I guess I have to be TONS better than you if I win, right?
