I hear all this talk about defender getting nerfed is it true that r nerfing defender or people r just on crack these days

this may seen a stupid question it probly is but i need to. can jedi use any pets because i head they can and i meadn any pets even if the pets is not theres plz answers my question

Jedi can use non-CH pets (cl 10 and lower).
Non-ch mounts, as well.

No faction pets, though.

I have seen a limited few get some high end pets via the "befriend" use by those who have MCH friends, but it is pretty lame. I have a kaadu mount that I group with for the extra xp, and an alternative ride away in case my vehicle gets smoked by a clever hunter.

yep, it's true...no traveling Jedi...they are planted in the Galaxy they unlock in.

no MD isnt' getting a nerf..AI isnt' getting a timer...if they did this they would ahve to get rid of CL over 100 IMO....even in the jedi updates this is not mentioned...other ones are mentioned but not this one

I haven't seen anything about it, but with the nerf to healer coming soon, and defender being the next most desirable (and potentially over powered) tree set, people are bound to wonder whats in store for it.


In all honesty, I have a master defender template and do hope they do something about how tough it is. It seems crazy that near enough all decent ground content, either through design or bugs requires a master defender to even stand a chance at getting anywhere.


The fact that of the 15 or so jedi in my guild near enough all are planning on getting master defender must say something about the state its in compared to all the other jedi trees.

Jedisaber speed(melee/ls)CAs and all of the jedi saber speed mods found in the tree are used to calculate your modified dps. The problem is, the cooldown timers do not use your modified speed, they are using your base saber speed. You cannot hit at your modified speed.


So the SEAs affect your modified speed, but since you cannot hit any faster than your base speed, it does nothing to benefit you. It just makes the little dps and modified speed numbers on your saber look prettier....sigh.
