At all.

Can you guys give me and people like me a no-pvp switch, one time choice, and send cool NPC's after me instead. I'd have more fun then. PVP people can go deal with the trash talking idiots, and I'll have fun in my own little world...

Ok I'll stop dreaming.

It would definitely be nice to have a way to filter out the trash-talking foul-mouthed moronic cretins in the game - but half the population, and three-quarters of the Jedi and BH populations would disappear.

I am happy to play withe remainder, but sadly no way seems to exist to filter out the first groups. If you choose to be a Jedi, then the only way to avoid the moronic @$$hats is to stay off the terminals - by playing your alt I guess

Dealing with BHs is going to be my least favorite part of finishing the FS grind to be honest. Not the ones who take the fight and are graceful with their win or lose, because I like a good fight, but the ones who wouldn't know sportsmanlike conduct if it was shoved down their throats and love to gloat over onesided unfair fights like they achieved something. I was a BH for a while. I never gloated and I never whined

Cant play the game and stay off the terminals.

You are back on the terminal after your first pve mission, even if not a single player saw you.

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Nah there needs to be some discouragement to stop everyone wanting to be a Jedi, and forced pvp discourages a lot of people. All Jedi know they will have to pvp - it's in the job description.

The direct opposite is true. Forced pvp and a pvp rewarding system is what encouraged most of the current Jedi to become one.

Disable pvp 100% from Jedi, and you will see them drop like flies.

Pre-cu i would of argued with you, since pve was still fun then. Now whenever I log into my Jedi it is to do one thing only and that is to pvp.
