Thread: the real issue i have with mbh/mcm, and my 24 worthless fs skill points, just the facts.
There are things much bigger going on in this moment of swg. This is most likely the developers least if not last priority. The sl needs testing w/their new revamp and the frs is closing in as well is the expansion of ToO.
We can't all get what we want. ![]()
lol, I love CM's They actually give me a fight
What Jedi really need are the premium drops again, so u guys can have a good saber to fight BH/CM's........
About the FS skills?? Humm I like the melle/ranged acc/speed , great for my saber and powers, + luck was nice when I use to loot stuff, and vehicle control was justa waste..Oh well...
MCM = nov medic, 1 tree in medic, nov marksmen, 1 tree in marksman, and novice to master CM. (15+14+15+14+novice to master63?)
Mdoc = nov medic, 2 trees in medic, and novice to master Doctor. (15+14+14+novice to master 63?)
Do the math. Maybe as a BH CM is cheaper but CM is the ranged healer. Doctor is for presonal help.
hmm it wont matter what pearls you have because with a -40 combat speed reduction and mind regen debuffs its not a battle of who will get the health to 0 first its a battle of whos mind drains the fastest. And franklly its the most annoying.
my alt is a MBH/MCM with 0004 pistols. I can use stopping shot ona jedi from 65m away with a 1200 max trendoshan rifle, with electrolyte drain on the jedi is done. (unless they have FR) If they close in i can heal damage faster then they can put it on me with thyroid rupture as well as hinder their action and mind regen (not to mention set their @sses on fire and poision them as well for an absurd amount of time). I love MCM, but i love my jedi too and thanks to the BHs who previously didnt know what to do the end result is jedi getting the royal shaft (again) and the 1.5x as tough gets thrown out the window and the new alpha class next to jedi nowis MBH/MCM.
jedi are pathetic now as a class. look at the stats pre cu (the focus on jedi was that altho a typical non defender had very little in form of defense they had one hell of a punch and that was what made jedi fun and difficult to play well.)
--85 precent saber block (at MLS, now its 25)
--78 percent force armor (at the higher frs levels)
--lightsaber toughness (taken away, bulls!it move)
--ultimate attacks for sabers in the fourth teir boxes and master boxthat gave us blind/dizzy/stun in one move (no need to waist force doing three spearate moves to 'try' to land a state on an enemy)
--the CHOICE of lower level moves (FR1, FR2, FR3, dervish/flurry/phantom attack or the lower levels of those attacks)
--risk vs reward for pvping ( no real reason to pvp now without the frs for the jedi, pvp rating means nothing)
(gripe) --one thing is the no xp loss. cmon. the only one thing that i really think is crap is they removed xp loss from cloning and pve deaths. now a player has nothing to worry about...kind of makes the profession worthless if its this easy.
--PVE damage modifier and Lightsaber damage (jedi had the distinct advantage, and rightfully so, of having an attack type that was unblockable and that is what evened our playing field with the defense stackers and other jedi. Our speed and power is what kept the jedi up and fighting.
because of the majority of the player base who never pvped or rarely did as soon as they encountered a jedi in battle they automatically assumed they were unbalancing the game. However they never pursued a level of greatness for their profession/template like a good amount of people did and actually spend the time to grind up a stacker temp and/or buy or loot the exceptional weapons and armor (90 base comp comes to mind with slots for speed seas) These players, the ones who just got their @sses kicked over and over and just couldnt figure it out are the people that the jedi profession need to thank the most. Obviously their incessant cries for nerfs and degrades to jedi worked for them in the long run when all they had to do was LEARN how to fight.
now? please. if there is any degree of skill or strategy involved in this system it is minimal at best, for those who werent constantly on the move either overt or tef fighting here is a little picture: docs and chefs and BEs were your best friends. get buffed and manage your food content on top of having the correct armor equipped for the situation (certain resists to heat/stun/energy...i personally had three different sets of comp on me with different resists depending on who i was fighting) food bar management and stat migration into your key elements (mostly mind, willpower and constitution) were crucial. synthsteak, brandy, aircake are just a few of the foods that a fighter needed to keep on hand. And knowing your opponent was more important then ever, if you knew your enemy has a sick 700 damage stunner on hand then you might have wanted to wear your stun comp in key areas.
Pre cu had depth in the system, and there were always areas to improve.
Post cu has no depth in its system
post cu lovers can eat this up, because frankly the majoriy of those who enjoy this POS system are the ones that didnt have what it takes.
my two cents.

my two cents.
I had 4 accounts between me and my 3 kids that I cancelled because a BH AFK killed me. These have been the only times I have been killed by BH is AFK. Other players can get up and use the bathroom, answer the door, get a drink or do any number of real life things that take them away from the keyboard for a short period of time. This latest BH was hitting me for 300 points of damage while I had no Auraor Valor running. This guy would never have a chance against me otherwise. I wouldn't mind the kill if it didn't damage my gear and cause me to loose 300K of XP.
There needs to be a mechanism to let me go AFK when not in battle to handle real life issue. So my 4 accounts were Station pass accounts. So I apply a $80 penalty to SWG for unbalanced game dynamics.I don't mind the BH vs Jedi forced PVP but this requires some basiccommon sense rules.![]()
ps - my kids didn't play that much anyways since they have started school.

It's called /sit; /logout; You got 30 seconds to stay by the keyboard before you're afk and free to go.

Roll over and die or run and hide. Better yet keep grabbing your ankles or are you too fat from playing SWG to do that?
Speaking from personal experience?
