Being around for over a year, I am full temp Post CU Jedi with an average post cu saber (so dps doesnt say too much, but for you to have an idea, approx 400dps modified).
Working on getting the saber better.....
I enjoy PvP, GCWin general and I enjoy BH encounters as well. I think Im not too bad at PvP also, my guild seems to think the same as they made me responsible for PvP issues.
To make things short:
Had 2 BH encounters today. Each around an hour long. Eventually Force was too low and I fled (no! I will not lie down and die!). Took a Holo the second fight because he made a mistake now and then and I thought I might get him. The first one I didnt bother taking the holo because I wasnt even close to getting him.
Both BH had awesome healing possibilities. Their mind was always above 50% even though I used sap constantly. Granted, concerning the second BH I was close with health a few times, but the only possibility to get him was if he had made a grand mistake of some kind.
So what is the result of these 2 encounters? Two frustrated BHs, one frustrated Jedi. Each BH wasted 1 hour without a result. I wasted 2h. OK I didnt lose and therunning bit was sort of fun too. But none of us had some kind of success really.
Before the publish which increased cm/doc healing by approx 100% we had health/action wars out there. Since then we have mind wars because every player interested in PvP picked up their healing skills (not their fault).
Concerning Jedi/BH we have force/mind wars.
But mind is only a limiter if u get someone in the "healing cycle". Force is a limiter, period(and quite a quick one, especially considering the regen). Kind of funny its quite hard and long lasting to refresh your force as a Jedi and refreshing mind from 0% to 100% takes a bit more than 10 seconds of sitting.
Options:
1. give force bar a much higher regen rate
> although necessary, wont solve a.m. problem and will make fights even longer
2. nerf cm/doc
>hate nerf calling. dont like it. we will have to see what the action changes will be like.. I assume it will also prolong many fights because the Healers offensive potential will be less, but not necessarily turning the tide on mind. Regen rates/cost for mind I thought was the issue, but okwe will see what happens.
3. better tunes/pearls
>well, nothing much to be said here... the situation for over 6 months is just simply ridiculous.
4. your ideas
SOE! Do something! Seriously! Not fun this way...
Think we need a new CU...

#1 - I'm in favor of this. The regen rate should be 4 times what it is now, and even higher with Force Meditate active.
#2 - Not necessary if #1 and #3 are done. Nerfing CM/Doc would impact more than just the BH/Jedi dynamic and could make the game less fun in other ways.
#3 - Of course! It saddens me that SOE hasn't yet presented a timeline for fixing this, much less a proposed solution!
#4 - OK how about these ideas:
- Remove the warmup timers. This would speed up combat for everyone and possibly render the bypass macros ineffective.
- Remove Force Powers zip bars. They essentially give the BH a free root, as any movement on the Jedi's part interrupts the zip bar. I'm not aware of any CM/Doc/Pistoleer/Rifleman/Carbineer/BH(/and soon Ranger!) move that has a similar "feature", other than Master Doc / Master CM resurrection.
- Fix ALL bugs with BH and Jedi. Both professions should be fighting each other at their very best. I am hearing more and more about Jedi/BH fights that are 30 minutes or longer... either these fights are REALLY exciting and worthwhile, or something is very broken.

SO basically here's what you want:
1. More force for jedi
2. A nerf for BH/CMs
Are you saying this would balance the two? Is this Bizzaro world?

I agree with that. BH's have one move that uses a zip bar that cancells if moved, duelist stance. not a game breaker, but frusrating, ive had my character automatically dodge an attack while i was applying Duelist stance.

Think we need a new CU...
Two things will fix it... and they are only fair.
1) Since Jedi heal timers added in a 6 second cool-down timer, CM-Doc heals need a 6 second cool-down timer.
2) Bring back premium pearls so that Jedi can get decent sabers again.
These two issues will fix the problems. I don't see it as a nerf to the CM / Doc professions to add in a timer... their healing capability is currently ubsurd and everyone knows it.

There area fewshots, overcharge, conceal and headshot I believe, thatuse the zip bar. But I don't recall if movement breaks.

im not sure about conceal, you are prob right, bt headshot(the one you get at novice rifleman)is just a normal special move, just aims at head. I haven't used overcharge in a bit, but last time is did, it did not have the zip bar. the only place I have seen it so far is for duelist stance for BH.

duelist stance is almost useless because if you stand still a jedi will obliterate you. 250 defense is good, no where near aura which always works and gives+500. That +500 almost insures that you will be hitting of your minimum damage. Minimum damage from a non-jedi is quite low, it's higher on a lightsaber...

Duelist stance, sniper shot, and conceal shot all have zip bars. For sniper shot, we have to be prone, not moving, and at least 20 meters away. In the case of conceal shot, we have to be prone and under cover.
