Thread: I have full faith in the FRS bringing jedi back to what they should be.

I have pretty much been thinking the same thing. Regular professions are getting improved. Alof of changes have been handed to jedi, most of them not beneficial. I can only hope you are right. However, It will only be worth the wait if the new system is not exploitable and is doable for all jedi professions. For example, it should not be about killing other players only. There should be rewards for jedi healers, tanks, lightsaber specialists etc. The more uniuqe templates should not be penalized. Only time will tell...
I fear many will be tempted to go defender for the aura line as it is harder to snare something you cant hit. The flavor of month issue will only get worse the more nerfs come out before the frs. I hope it is worth the wait because as of now I am very disapointed almost to the point of not even finishing my jedi template.

No offense, this is coming from a permadeath jedi. I have seen the continual slide of our profession. Let me just tell you with more jedi arriving everyday, you honestly think they are gonna makejedi better? When CU came out there were ALOT of different options for jedi templates and all of them worked well (except master healer/master powers that is lol). As people whined that oh a jedi could do this or that, the dev response is this...
DEV 1 - People are complaining jedi can ____________ (insert yourown favorite nerf)and get away.
DEV 2 - Let's add something called a Snare!!!

I agree with you 100%. I really dont think that it should be about fighting one another. I think to list what i would like to see is another topic all together. I just know that when its done.. it will be done right. I for one.. LOVE the changes they are bringing with the other proffs. They are making them so that people will WANT to play them, and not fell they need to, just to grind combat xp. It should be that way. They have to get those done first... and as the saying goes... SAVE THE BEST FOR LAST.
Lets just have faith in SOE to do it right... instead of threatining to leave at the drop of a dime.
