Apart from that, yes, it would be better to push for average post-CU LS damage being raised than pre-CU LS damage lowered.
LOL, I wonder if this is BH's posting this. Because this nerf would nerf all Jedi, making them all easier to kill. I just don't understand the logic, I don't have it, so no one can. I am for the most part a post CU jedi, and this is the most stupid idea I have ever heard. If I look at my saber, and its not good, but its got the best pearls I have in it, what happens when those wear out? I'd be in even worse shape. Stupid Idea.

You are an idiot if you actually believe powers is suppose to be a support profession. They already stated that it was a damage dealing profession and could even be an alternative to lightsaber. I just wish all iof you people thought before you made a post like that, especially since there have been many ideas like make your lightsaber stats reflect how much damage your force powers do. Guess i'm just talking to myself, since a defender/saber jedi probably won't ever care, as long as his template is the best?
As for the guy who posted the nerf adk sabers is an idiot, he was too lazy to get pearls himself, and he should keep tuning thousands of goods until he finally has a decent saber.

they stated powers could be an alternative to lightsaber....I'm not trying to be rude,or asmartalec, butit is....just as healer is an alternative to enhancer, which is an alternative to defender etc....
powers is A) ranged and B) crowd control
it IS a support profession....you can't have the style advantage, the range advantage, and the damage advantage all in one package....if you don't want powers, don't take it....but if you do take it, make sure it's not because you think it's gonna change (other than the cloak "adjustment")...it has it's advantages and drawbacks just like any of the other 4 disciplines.....powers in particular shines when you have a full group that knows how keep you alive and doing what you do best, looking pretty, and making opponents miserable....it's not designed for one on one supremacy.
