do you think its possible to unlock FSCS?

I have been following this board for about two months now, and icant help but wonder at this point can it be done. Is it possible or is just that hard? I dont think everyone should be a jedi but its just a game and star wars without Jedi is like "cornflakes without the milk". (sorry couldnt think of anything better)

I am not flaming on the SWG game. I love the game. I am doing what i want to do and having fun with out being a jedi and have no interest in being a jedi. But i would love to see a Player jedi or two before i leave the game and move on. I would like to Duel a player jedi and see how they stack up to me. So let me close by asking again. if we are a week or two from seeing a jedia month ago is it possible to unlock the FSCS????

I think it is possible. And with the clues from holocrons I feel that alot of the riddle may be mudnae tasks that we would never really feel like doing, therefore no one has done it yet.

Well I will post again what I already wrote last week.

I played a ton of mmorpgs, from Everquest to Ultima Online to Daoc to Shadowbane. And I saw people do crazy things in these games. Powergamers can achieve awesome feats, and when they overcome their egos and band together in a guild they are usually a LOT faster than developers ever expect the players to be.

Anyone remember Fires of Heaven in Everquest, those guys killed uber mobs setting off a world eventbefore the devs had completely implented the code, cause they expected no one to be able to kill those.

In Shadowbane people had enormous cities on 2 weeks after launch...there are tons of other examples.

Star Wars is a legend, it will attract the nerdiest of the nerdy, those gamers who can play 16 hours straight per day. The creme de la creme of the powergamers, who would sell their own grandma to get a fs slot.

And this is the reason why it is so strange that nobody has managed to do it yet. I am sure there are people out there who already tried the whackiest theories as well as going the suggested path of badges and professions.

Since none of them has managed to do it yet I am starting to get suspicious. And basically if someone did it I would still be unhappy cause I want a slot of my own and not someone else playingjedi.

Not possible or someone would have done it by now.

If it is possible, theres so many restrictions that after a year, no one will be jedi, and without jedi, this game lacks anything that makes it feel like star wars.

Well, what do powergamers NOT do? I'll bet the answer to that question is the answer to the FSCS.

I disagree that jedi's are what give star wars its feelings... True the movies revolve around jedi's but would it be the same if all the characters walked everywhere ? No space combat ?

I truly think the star wars feelign will come once Vehicles and Space Expansion are implemented.

There are already Jedi NPC's so thats not what is holding back that authenthic feeling.

In the book Shadows of the Empire, the story revolves a lot around Dash Rendar (A much cooler Character than Han Solo). It felt like Star Wars... Hell the N64 game Shadows of the Empire had no Jedi' and it felt like star wars.

Vehicles and Space Expansion are needed... need a lot more vehicles than just a swooper and landspeeder ...

Jedi need to be really rare... This setting is in ESB .. The only known Jedi are Yoda, Luke and Vader.

the jedi class will probably suck ass when it comes out, the specials will probably be exactly the same as a swordsman or fencer only with a gay little lightsaber that doesnt even look like one. and how are jedi going to use the force? you can hardly interact with static objects in this game so if a jedi wants to lift up a rock with the force they wont be able to do it(like luke picked up the rocks in ESB while training with yoda) and also i dont think anything will give this game a starwars feel until the space expansion comes out and that will probably suck ass too

This is easy to answer. No, it is not possible to open the FSCS because PC jedi are not completely coded into the game.

Most powergamers don't surrender their uber professions to try other professions. Not without incentive like badges. Thats where they screwed up on the profession thing.

I've come to the conclusion that if the powergamer's haven't unlocked it by now I'm probably never going to Doesn't mean I'm going to quit the game or quit trying to open a fscs but I think my chances are less and less everyday. Which is exactally the opposite of how it should be
