Bah... math...Am I correct if you need to earn 206,55 million experience for 6 lines of force sensitive experience counting your "free" combat experience along with it?Message Edited by MsNiL on 10-08-2005 02:58 PM

well divide that by 5 and you get 40mill...the jedi grind is 32mill+the xp you lose from bhs when ur grinding sense u cant fightback anymore so the grind is about the same as the jedi grind.
The FS grind is worse since in reality you are only getting 1/30th of the XP per kill rather than the 1/6th for Jedi XP. So the stadard FS Combat 4444 FS Refelx 4400 would be 7,450,000 FS XP (including the 2 50k novice boxes), which would require 223,500,000 Combat XP to convert at 30:1. A standard Jedi template at say 32,000,000 Jedi XP would be 192,000,000 at a 6:1 ratio. So the Jedi grind is approx. 31,500,000 less XP than FS, plus the fact that you are gaining new powers as you go, where as the FS grind you really get nothing for that work.
Hehe, I remember the FS grind...it sucked until double exp week hit ![]()
Grinded (or is it ground?
) a tree PER DAY. CauseI wasgetting the 4 times exp due to double amount of exp received and then double again when you exchanged, along with nade grinding, which was5 times faster (at the time) than regularweapon specific combat expgrinding. So technically my grind was 20 times quicker than most other people.
Proud of that, I am ![]()

i still think the holo grind was worse, i pity the people who had a m droid engineer holo
In my experience, grinding professions pre CU was a lot easier than doing the village. Bringing Hologrind to now, would mean a lot more Jedi, in less time.
Basically, the Village is like a filter for some, just a semi-controlling method, nothing really successfull.
Facts about Village:
- You have to grind the same, all the freakin time. At least with holo grind, you could change professions, and kind of "experiment" different stuff. Right now, It's all about starting game, go level 80 and start spending the rest of your miserable life in dantooine.
- There is a "cap" in experience, wich forces you to make multyple trips to some village in dathomir so you can get "trained". This wastes so much time, there are some people that even ask to get killed, just to avoid the drive back to the starport. In hologrind you could get trained everywhere, in fact, while crafting you could be sitting next to a trainer and not waste time.
- With the village, there is a real time restriction, 3 weeks per phase, you need to do six phases. With hologrind you didnt had a time restriction, sure its impossible to ground 30 professions in one day, but at least you could do like 1 week non stop grind 24/7 and unlock, hell you may get lucky and unlock at your 5 or 6 profession. In the village you need to do six phases, no less.

maybe it was easier, but the hologrind was better for game experience rather than just xp xp xp
That sir, is something I completelly agree on. My post was directed to those who still think Hologrind was harder than the actual system.
