Thread: Force Sensitive Crafting

I'm pretty sure I read a dev post that said the main will not be FS. There would be such a freakin uproar if this were the case that SOE would need to call in the Department of Homeland Security. I know I would instantly cancel my 4 accounts if current Jedi players got 2 FS chars for the grind of one, while other players have to grind it twice just to get one Jedi right if they do not want their mains to become FS.
No, you are correct...I was referring to the original post that said he heard that all current Jedi would have their mains instantly become FS after publish 10 goes live. For anyone that doesn't already have a pre-pub9 Jedi created, they will be forced to become a full padawan with their main before opening the second slot. And for those that didn't want their main to become FS they will have to start from scratch with the 2nd slot char in order to get their original Jedi idea completed. So, you can see how it is already worse for post-pub9 unlockers...& to give current Jedi free FS for their main would be adding insult to injury & would result in an uproar the likes of which have not yet been seen.

Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything stating you guys will get an alt character as you FS character. What I do know is that in the past Devs have strongly hinted that your main will be the FS character. If you guys do get an alt character, good for you, you guys deserve it and don't deserve to get hosed. If you don't.....well I think they'd need more than Homeland Security, probably would need to create a UN Peacekeeping Force.

Well, to give us 6 lines straight out free I would agree is garbage and shouldn't happen, however PRe-Pub 9 unlockers I think should probably be past the Visitation stage at least.
What do you mean? Pre-publish 9 unlockers should already have a 2nd Jedi char made, so there would be no reason for that Jedi char to have to go back to be visited by the old man, they are already way past this phase & don't have to redo anything.
But, if you mean your main should also get credit towards becoming FS on top of what your Jedi already has, then you are dead wrong. If post 10 unlockers have to redo everything to get a second char to FS then so should all pre 9 unlockers. There's no way players would accept having one group get 2 FS for the price of one, while the others have to do 2 grinds just to get one correct FS char.
SOE could solve this so easily by giving all post 9 unlockers the choice as to which slot should become FS. They were given plenty of input on this very topic early in the planning stages, so I will not accept the excuse that they couldn't do it because it's already been programmed. There is absolutely no valid excuse for SOE's decision other than greed.
That may be true. It all depends on what it really takes to get the visit. I could see that happening as most older mains have probably done whatever it takes to get the visit.

Yea I meant the main, and while it would be I guess unfair to some people if you just put us past the Visitation stage from what I'be heard this isn't that big of an advantage, we would still have all the missions and xp we would have to grind, it would just put us a little a head.
