thats not the point im trying to make. im not saying everyone wants one, or that everyone would be upset by it. All im saying is that if it was a minority that got a uber loot item like this, which was inaccessable to the majority of the characters, then there would be a roaring voice of complaint.

Devs make these wearable by wooks and ithorians.
I've seen a few posts around the forums about certain species inability to wear certain loot items (in this case the cloaks), and got to thinking. Instead of the dev's reworking items to fit all species, have a NPC that can transform the clothing/armor item into another clothing/armor item the characters species can wear.
For example, Ithorians can't wear these cloaks, so an Ithorian would hand the item over to the NPC and request another piece of clothing (i.e. a shirt [they can wear shirts, can't they?]) be made out of the cloak. This item would have the same stats (if any) as the original and could be either No Trade or Bio-Linked to that character to prevent abuse. So now all the work you put in acquiring this item isn't a complete waste of time when you get it and find out you can't wear it.
Sorry KaliMaul, but when some of us started down the path of Jedi, you were to get a new character with FS ability, not your main becoming a Jedi. So instead of myself planning on a human Jedi, I now have a Trando Jedi that can't wear gloves and boots. This was not what I was planning on this character being Jedi when I started this character.

this is the only quotable comment on this post that is a reason that the cloaks shouldnt be used by wooks or ithorians. but does that mean that my friend omanik, who is a wookiee about the size of a large human, should be able to wear it. and as for ithorians, they have the same body size as humans and aside from gloves, boots and helmets, so they should be able to wear a cloak (which doesnt have any affect on neck size, another ithorian attribute that differs from human)?

...and seriously how many wookie jedi are there in the story?None. How many wookies in Ep 3 or any episiode for that matter, wore clothes? (ie cloaks, boots, pants...) None. Wookies arent supposed to dress like humans. Thats why they are covered with hair. I was overcome with laughter when I saw the first wookie jedi in robes on my server. It looks ridiculous and doesnt fit in the story.
First of all the matter of whether or not wook jedi were in episode 3 has nothing to do with the fact that my wook toon shouldn't be permitted to wear the cloaks. I've worked my a$$ off grinding him just like any other player or character to have the enjoyment of being a jedi. why in the hell doesn't it make sense to give us the same reward as the rest. wookie's can wear the beginners robes when they become jedi, wookies for some reason can wear the clone armor, why in the hell wouldn't we be permitted to wear the rest of them.
But then again if my wookie actually could pull your limbs out your sockets in this game i guess it wouldn't matter. sticking with the story line. you'd just visit the cloner more often is all.
