Thread: Patched Master Power Ability! ***NEW*** Get rid of Heal in your Mpower Template! (imagine)

Imagine this.....


New ability in Master Power Box: Life Drain


30-40 Fcost (lil more than a normal forceheal)


100-120 Damage (not mitigated by anything) (its a power so it must deal dmg..and its needed to make this work)


5seconds cooldown (since it heals less than a normal heal ability)


1100-1200 Heal (that is to say...."Life Drain heals you for 10* the damage it causes"...this is why we need 100-120 not mitigated dmg)



Of course this should be a Master BOx skill to prevent Dabbler Templates to be Overpowered....


Added: TO PREVENT OVERPOWERING THE SKILL SHOULD ALSO NOT STACK WITH HEALING ABILITIES (ie the cooldown timer will stick also on /forceheal if you have both abilities......so no lifedrain+forceheal)




If they will ever implement something like this...well ill go Respec to my dream template.....Mpowers Msabers 4xx4 Enhncer

Ive always thought that powers needed a force drain similar to other jedi games that removed a small part of health (1-300)from another person and moved it into their own health (750-1500 heal)


I do agree it should be a master box so that it cant be combined easily with healer.


This would probably make a master powers template viable without healer

ill say eveno more viable. After pub 19 mpowers is a lot better than what it used to be (EXCEPT THE ZIP BARS...lol)


I hope they will consider my proposal to give Mpowers players a good and realistic skill to make their template more competitive

Wow, next please. I support powers being stronger - Same with every jedi disciple currently. But think about it. This skill combined with 4000 healer = almost full HAM heal in less than 6 seconds. Where's the balance in that? Especially considering that a Master healer can't even heal that good, for that low of FC.

No they won't. Your basically getting the same skills as a 2/0/0/0 or 4/0/0/0 healer without investing further skill points in your mpowers template.

i think 4xxx Healer should not be mandatory to survive. Hell i want to play my fun template (Mpowers MSabers 4xx4 Enhncer) and being able to heal a little too....and this skill im describing is a good one imo.


Its not unbalancing, it quite inspired by what a Force Wielder can do with the force too.

It is very unbalancing. Read my above post for further details. Furthermore, any other profession can have that argument as well "they don't want to have the necessity for healer" but unfortunately, in the CU, it is all about healing.

ya you could put them on the same cooldown timer.. that would fix it.

lo,, c'mon man...give it UP! You want to be able to be MLS and MPowers, and your enhancer part too?! Basically the best dmg dealer possible with MLS and some added bonuses with Mpowers (choke, intimidate,etc.) and still be able to heal as well as 4/0/0/0 healer. No, I don't think so. You can have that but with everythign you need to sacrifice something, and currently it's healing. Can't have your pie and eat it too. Not a welll thought out suggestion.
