Thread: How Much Jedi XP Can You Earn In An Hour?

I earn about about 100k for an average group, about 120-150k in a really good spin group (which I almost never find). Mostly hunt bols and pickets 80+ out of the MO (Corbantis).

1. How much xp per hour can you get?

2. Know any tips to maximize it?

3. Do you seem to get more xp per hour doing bolsor pickets?

4. It seems we spend a lot of time at picket lairs pulling mobs, getting incapped, etc. Wonder if lower level pickets (79/80) or bols might provide more xp per hour given the easier kills?

5. Can you get more xp per hour spinning 78/79/80s than pulling 81/82s?

Lots of questions and am just looling for what you have experienced and any tips.

Thanks,

For a Spin group 150k sounds low. If you get spin groups on Tatooine, I find that the lairs produce more enemies. I can get 60k from one lair sometimes.

my teams avg 500-600k per hour, including downtime and ppl leaving and joining

the key to a good grind group is the Tank being able to manage his force and reduce the downtime

My personal fav is level 80 pickets. Not quite the bite that 82's put on you, but twice as many mobs to kill than bol lairs.

Yesterday in about 6-7 hours, I made around 1 mill, so my numbers aren't far off from yours.

Get a group whit 8 jedis, and try to get some higher lvl jedis in the group!

Go to a player city, and take missions from ther! ( les lag! ).

Take lvl78-80 pikets missions, you dont use so mush force on them. ( on healing, force armor and so on! )

Spin lair!

If you hold the spirit up in the group can you make 400-500k per H.

You can make more, if you dont milk the lair. just kill the first spawn and move on to the next lair, whitout killing the lair! Bu then you need to have lairs close by, and a good organised group. You will take lairs after turns, and when you come back to the first lair it have respawned! I have not done it like this, to many noobs dont get it how this work! but i hear ppl are getting up to 700k per H doing it like this!

Hope this helps!

If you can find a swordsman/tka/pike tripple melee with area taunt and stims and inusion and mitigation foodyou can keep all the agro on him. Which is what I am and it saves alot of force for the jedi in the group. Less sitting down more killing. = happy group

i'm thinking there is only one or two Jedi that has responded to this, the rest are bounty hunters looking to point at this thread later. to say "LOOK HOW MUCH XP THEY GET"

I would say you can average around 300k per hour with a 7-8 person spin group. This includes all the time it takes to set the group up, get missions, take smoke breaks, fill empty spots and deal with bhs.

I grinded from 380k to about 950k last night in a little less than 3 hours (this includes -200 from a sneaky bh, props to him). It was a fairly good group though. If you are hunting pikets, it sounds like you are joining pick-up groups out of Dant. I gave up on these a long time ago. They are always disorganized with non tank professions stealing agro and making all the melee characters scramble to getkills.

I only hunt out of player cities now. There are a couple imp cities on Tat that have groups running out of them constantly where people know the rules of a good spin group and if not, are told the first lair how to do it right.

If no one is on I will go to Dant and pick imperials out of the crowd and ask them if they want to join a spin group and then tell them to go to such and such player city on Tat and wait there. I will take low level players too (they tend not to hit hard enough to steal agro and are very greatful for the invites). The only prerequisites are that you are imp, have an area attack or can heal, and that you know how to avoid getting agro. Not only are you helping new players, you are also promoting player cities this way and increasing the trafic to the shuttleports.

Obviously you need to be a tank or know of one to start the groups yourself, but defender is a very popular template and even a partialy completed defender with aura can tank with some steak and a decent group.

Hahah. Im a jedi and to be honest the only way to get great exp is to have 3 things.

1. A full group of 70+ all with area attacks who know what they are doing.

2. A tank that can handle the lairs without needing a ton of healing or force

3. (MOST IMPORTANT) A group that stays together for a long period of time. Keeping a full group together for a long period of time is the only way to get the super high end exp. You lose exp when the group isn't full and you lose time trying to recruit others.

If you have these 3 things then your group will provide TONS of exp.

If you can be in a good spin group and can afford to be on for most of the day, it's not that hard to get up to 2 million Jedi xp a day... provided of course there aren't very many... distractions.

I personally always preferred grinding solo. Yes it takes longer but I feel safer because I can always pay attention to my surroundings. Also in spin groups you have too many players watching you that are outside of the group. Everytime I have been in a spin group we were always interrupted by bounty hunters. I seem to never get any visits when I am solo grinding, knock on wood.
