Thread: Cloak really being nerfed, or just an over-reaction?

id generally agree with that - self buffs (enhancer) shaould still be able to be done cloaked - but assists wont - makes perfect sense. this is only IN CONCEPT atm - not even close to the TC

So.........
I still have cloak at 0400.
I want to disengage an enemy, so I get 20m distance, cloak, Burst run, eat parawn cake, whatever, and move out of the area untouched?
(I still don't get why people want to channel while cloaked, unless it's so they can stick around, and aren't really trying to escape?) /shrug

You can't burst run while cloaked. Alot of jedi, like me, don't have enough sp for force run.MBH can also eat parwan cake. Snaring us when cloaked is pointless because, for those of us who do need to run away,if we can't get out of the area the MBH causes our force to drop...fast. For those of us who use cloak offensively, by cloaking and staying in the area, we need to be able to channel and regen a bit because of ou massive amount force cost and crappy sabers.Let's not tooforget the need to heal so we can continue the fight. We don't have good defense and we take lots of damage fast.

no i dont like people exploiting bugs on purpose, and the above is a example of such a exploit,
you really like cheating then dont you if you think thats ok

you can burst run THEN cloak
if your cloaking to escape you don't need to heal to continue the fight.....but your intent isn't to leave the fight....tada...this is a fix prompted by that very "tactic"
you have just as much ability to pick up defender and not take damage as anyone else...mpowers is better against bh's than msabers, especially if you have a crappy saber.
