Thread: Why does everyone think a good saber is owed to them?

Pre-cu jedi didnt have our sabers handed to us we went out and killed hundreds of krayts , thousands even and this was before they were every 20m. And prem's never guaranteed a good tune, I had to tune approximately 60+ prem's to get the saber i have and it is far from a perfect saber. If I was a new jedi or soon to be new jedi I would be in the graveyard putting in my time killing krayts so i could have the best possible saber under current conditions. Bottom line is nobody owes you a good saber you have to earn it.

instead of go and make threeds about the current issues go out and hunt krayts in 1000

yep this is true, unfortunatly for those like me who got stuck in pre-cu grinding so they wouldnt have to grind before CU hit we couldnt get any decent pearls (apart from one i got which tuned 120/120 -0.28 -4FC) but what msot people feel is they dont have a saber owed to them they jsut deserve a chance to have premium's dropping so that everyone is on an equal level

and how you think is it possible to GET our sabers IF Premiums and Flawerless doesnt drop? If the CHANCE of getting Perfect Saber is about 0%... No-one Have yet Tuned a ''Good'' Pearl Perfect yet, and I know alot of people that really tuned MANY in the real meaning of the word!

we know about the issues and it is not a good one either i would be more then happy if they will drop again but you guys that does not have good tunes need to killl and tune more that is pretty much it . you must have forgot back when you saw one krayt a day tops and if you was lucky you looted a pearl more offen you looted a crap component

let me spell this out for you. You have sabers. Force cost = doesn't matter. Dmg = only thing that matters. Premiums/Flawless = would be to easy to get resulting in EVERYONE HAVEING PERFECT SABERS. I tuned well over 150 premium/flawless pearls and crystals to get my saber near perfect pre cu. How many goods have you tuned?

150? that's laughable, I've tuned double that (crystals/pearls) in the past month. The tunes were pathetic. How about my *7* pre-cu premium pearls/crystals? They tuned well, and are in my low fc, 665 max dmg saber.

STL your statement on Krayts is not fully true.....ask your guild mate FastEddie he is in my opinion the greatest krayt hunter on SS. Yes it was not, run out to the grave yard and you find a krayt like it is now, but if you knew what to do with in 30-45 mins you had a krayt and it spawned several times with a chance of dropping a premium pearl.
Right now there is no chance of getting a premium pearl....allI ask for is a chance to get one I don't care ifI have to spend hours a day to get one, but at least give me the chance.I have tuned well over 1500 combinations of post CUcrystals, and pearls ranging from fair to quality and have not even come close to a good stat pearl say 115 -8.....we are talking like 89 -2 or 25 -5.
My point I would like the same opportunity you had to get premium pearls under the same difficulties you had. I think that is a fair request.

Premium Pearls
Currently, Premium Pearls do not drop. We will bring them back into the game once we figure out a favorable implementation of these special items; there is not specific ETA for this change and all players that have the old Premium Pearls will get to keep them in the interim.

And to the OP, why do YOU think no one should have a good saber besides you? Because you worked hard, in a video game? Sounds silly doesn't it?
Ive seen no one ask for a good saber, though I have seen many ask for the OPPORTUNITY to loot the same quality pearls pre-cu jedi had access to, no matter how low the drop rate is. From there it's in the hands of the random tunes.
Before someone screams that krayts were sooo much harder pre-cu, they weren't. They had higher ham, but had almost 0 chance of killing you. Now they have low ham (and high health regen)but can kill you in a blink if you aren't careful.

I do not believe that an Uber saber is owed to me, but I would however like the same chance as every other Jedi to get one. You heard it straight from the horses mouth that premiums DO NOT drop anymore. I have tuned over 54 "Good" pearls looted from top end Krayts and not got one decent tune! Do you seriously believe any of that rubbish about "Goods" having at least a small chance of getting a decent tune? Cmon, smell the Bullsh$£t that they have been telling us. THis bug has been around for months and they have done nothing at all about it. There are now over 1220 posts under Tiggs' thread regarding the pearl drop, show me one where someone has got an Uber tune from a post-CU pearl. I think out of 1220 peopls who have tuned loads of them, at least one person would have got something by now. I am in no way calling nerf or moaning at pre-CU Jedi. If anything I would congratulate them as they are the last of the real Jedi with the weapons they wield. I would like to congratulate all pre-CU Jedi on receiving their long term service veteran reward from SOE in giving them a chance to get Uber tunes from Pearls
