Thread: Pearl's and Crystals Fix Sugestion
I feel Pearls/Crystals shouldnt even have a fair/poor/quailty/premium/select/quality raiting on them... Base the Tune factor on how much force you have at the time of the tune.
If in regualr professions you are lvl 54 you need a lvl 54 qualifying gun to use.
Why not base this in the same way. The more force you have = the most training you have receved = the more knowledge of the force you have= the better chance of you tuneing better pearls or crystals .

incorrect, you asume to much into the suggestion, instead of makeing the proability based on quality you base it on force lvl, Doesnt mean you will get a perfect tune or the best tunes, the sugestion is to make the proabilty higher on more knowledge then with less knowledge of the Force.
Simple as one , two and three

So I loot flawless everytime ? Yet if I want to sell them to a new Jedi, they become 'bad'. Althought it makes sence and would give pearls a straight price accross the board, I could then camp low level NPCs that drop crystals i.e. Tuskens, or Canyon Corsairs, Possibly AFK, and obtain 'flawless' or their varient in your new system, everytime.
Grasping at words and Ty Jalia I couldnt have explained it better.

Have you ever played a classic dice-based RPG? Do you understand the concept of dice rolls?
I am not trying to be rude, but rather clear. Think of it like a dice roll.
Instead of the crystal coming 'pre-coded' with a secret value, you would (invisibly) roll for your tune.
A more highly trained jedi would have a greater understanding of the force and get more dice to roll.
Tying it to the force pool woudl probably work, as the difference between most full templates is only about 1k.
Alternately it could be tied to skill points put into the jedi profession and would have a similar effect.
A classic RPG style dice roll with increasing skill based rolls. It's really that simple.
BUMP!
force pool... maybe not... this would put pure dabblers at a disadvantage... but wat do i care... they snuck in grabbed my beautiful powers skill cloak and dabbled in my sacred discipline... u must master teh powers to be considered a powers user... thos who dabble in it shall be smited for dishonoring the powers
