Ikept coming back to the FAQ thread about saber hilts, trying to figure out which hilts make the thick blades and which make the thin blades, but there wasn't any clear info on that, so I figured I'd make a picture myself!

Here's the text version:

Hilt 1: Long, thin blade

Hilt 2: Short, thick blade

Hilt 3: Long, thin blade (seems a bit thicker than Hilt 1)

Hilt 4: Short, thick blade (seems a bit thinner than Hilt 2)

Hilt 5: Short, thick blade

Hilt 6: Long, thin blade

Hilt 7: Long, thin blade

Hilt 8: Short, thick blade

Hilt 9: Short, thick blade

Hilt 10: Short, thick blade (MAYBE a bit longer than Hilt 9, though my screenshots may be angled differently)

Hilt 11: Short, thick blade

Hilt 12: Short, thick blade

Hilt 13: Long, thing blade

edit:

Jeebus, the HTML editor on this board sucks... how do I make linkies?

neat post.

Have you noticed that different color crystals affect the thickness of the blade? It seems that red and green on my saber seem to be "thinner" than yellow and orange.

I think that's just that certian colors "define" better than other colors. I usedorange because it seems to really exaggerate the thin/thick differences. And, also, because it's the color I normally use, heh heh.

Outstanding, and the yellow saber shows the blade thickness the best.

Thanks =) Was bugging the crap outta me, trying to remember which hilts not to use (as I hate the wide blades)... hopefully people save the picture or something, took me like 2 hours to get it all spliced together, heh heh heh.

very interesting i have definately noticed a difference in blade thickness due to the color of the crystal and have noticed that banes and dark blue are quite thin and would be very interested to see the results you come up with using one of those colors as i have noticed a saber with orange produces a big thick blade and blue on the same saber produces a thin blade.
