What one must also remember, is that MCM/MBH in the right hands is absolutely nuts as well. Yes I do agree that if used properly Jedi are powerfull, but if the BH knows what they are doing, jedi don't really stand too much of a chance(especial with that thiroid rupture)

I'm not saying that jedi are powerless, but I know some of the Best PvP jedi out there get beat by the best PvP BH/CM's. In my opinion, BH, CM is too powerfull, but in my opinion healing in hte game right now is way to necessary/powerfull. If you don't have it you're pretty much doomed, and if you have a little bit of it you can stay alive for insane ammounts of time.

But the only way i can think to fix that problem is make it so that healers get negatives to defence. Of course everybody would right away call it a nerf, and getting the right balance would be crucial.

A good saber combined w/ choke..../shiver...I love killing the Doc TK stackers and their response is "Man I hate choke."

I've finnaly figured out a good combo to use with my skills and unless they react quick enough with a stim or something the TK Doc goes down quickly.

I for one, rate the strength in my Jedi by how he HELPS others, not by PWN'ing them.

To me, the Jedi who are out to beatevery BH and winevery PvP battle...They are the ones that Jedi is not for.

Welcome to the New Galactic Empire, a very hidden organization that has managed to kill far more citizens and destroy far more communities than theImperial Navycould have ever dreamed of.....

Pre-CU maybe, although highly unlikely, but now nope, you can't win all of the battles all the time but you can win some of them some of the time.

first of all since you only have 4000 cm i dont understand why the jedi needed so long

if you cannot kite him that good and cant make him attack slow your mind will drain fairly quick. If you can already survive 40 mins against a jedi then imagine what would happen if you were mcm.

of course there are templates that are absolutely deadly for the mcm bh and since a lot of mcm bh are not very goodits basically possible to beat them with any template. I have never had a good mcm bh come for me but i think if one comes I wont be able to win the fight.

about everybody saying that jedi is weak now tho. i think they are all forgetting that defense stacker could beat jedi pre cu.

Haha, I don't know where those Jedi are on my server. I am not trying to brag, but I got my MBH/MCM/4000R over last week, and been Jedi hunting nonstop since Friday... Track Record: 15 Kills, 4 deaths (my first few times), 3 runaways. I never played a ranged profession or Combat Medic. As a new BH, I am not complaining, but I thought that Jedi would be a lot harder to beat.

Pvp is still all bout the mind pool. Pre CU, whoever damaged the mind the most would mostly win. Post CU, it's almost the same thing. Instead of damaging the mind, you have to outlast your opponant's mind. Whoever runs out of mind first will most likely lose. That's why defense is so important now, more so than before. The higher your def the less damage you take, the less damage you take the less healing is needed. The less the healing is needed the longer you can last.. simple as that. The 2nd most important attribute is accuracy. Accuracy has a huge impact on how much damage you will do. I have a 6fc, 550damage gen3 saber i use for grinding/pve. Even with that saber i do well for damage. I accually prefer it over my gen4 710damage 12fc.

On my server we had a duel tournament for jedi and nonjedi. One fight in particular that i remember was 2 ranged BH/CMs. One of the bhs had over 6k hp, the other had alittle more than 3.5k. The 2nd player won even though he had less hp, the reason being he had more defense.

Another interesting thing i noticed, when it was jedi vs jedi... If one of the 2 had force armor, he usually won. The jedi with a mix of defender and force armor were less effected by armor break. Which makes it interesting to think how it will effect the frs when it comes into play. That is if pvp is even a part of the new frs.

I don't really agree, watched a guildie duel a very good MBH/MCM with his best pre CU LS and he pummeled the BH in half a minute, then they recovered and tried again with a 550 damage 3rd gen, the Jedi couldn't dent the BH.

Jedi are strong...as long as your saber is decent. What I mean by decent is anything about 500 max damage. I fought a MLS/MDEF the other night and the fight lasted 40 mins...and I lost! I was amazed because I watched the damage that he was doing and his saber wasn't much better than 480ish. He did a fantastic job of managing his mind and force and just plain outlasted me. My BH couldn't keep up with the heals and my mind went away. NEVER during the fight did he activate AI, but Valor and Aura were doing their job. The interesting thing is that a MCM/MBH joined in right before I died, and that also got killed. This was one of the few losses I had...I was 8 and 3 this weekend. I have 75% ab resist armour, one of the lowest sac and highest damage pistols on the server (kinetic) and have 4000 CM. I did everything right, more or less.

I say it again, it's not your saber, it's your knowledge of your own template.

reason you lost...... mcm/mbh with the right gear will beat almsot any jedi....hell if they start taking mass mass damage they can still just kite you to death....thyrod is a killer and so is the burn.....

The issue is that a good, experienced jedi pvper can handle these templates.

doesnt mean he knows what hes doing or as a good pvp...simple fact is....mcm/mbh is still gonna beat a jedi if they know what there doing and have all the right supplys

--- Cancelled 24th November 2006
Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

Sorry, Darling, but when all I read is how we suck, it paints a skewed picture. The fact is that some people have little or no trouble with BH's.
