Tiggs garvan why no response to all the rumors ?!?! Kind of weird u guys are being so quiet 
wish you would respond to either tell us the rumors are false or give us some informaiton. Knowledge is power use it!!

As if anyone in this forum ever gave a damn about the denials of rumors in the first place.

Well GarVa did, then he realized it was funnier to watch people on the forums get themselves worked up about nothing and went back to worrying about Virrago's spot light.

Its an interesting question though. If we accept that (As LucasArts has told someone on this forum) this Starter Kit is an offline version of the game that operates as a "try before you buy" kind of thing then how could they do it without Jedi? Isn't that the big selling point according to LucasArts? The real question is how are they handling people who decide to suscribe. Can they bring a character over from the stand alone? That creates an issue if they can create a Jedi character because you can't allow that. They could allow them to transfer non Jedi characters in and proably most players wouldn't care one way or the other as long as they couldn't bring in massive amounts of credits or items that would unbalance the game (not that its in balance right now with all the mainentance suspended)
Assuming this starter kit is even real which is only in doubt because LA hasn't decided to talk about it publically yet.

here's another good rumor; sabers wont require looted drops anymore ie. crystals and pearls.
