Hi all just thought I'd post that i've been doing canyon corsair missons on lok and the crystal drop rate seems to be very high. Lastnight I got 12 colour crystals and only2 power crystals in 3-4hrs at the corsair POI, but now i've done 6 corsair missions in say 30-40mins with my alt and got 3 power crystals. Seems to be the lvl 82 missions that drop the power crystal the most.

Just posting because read in an earlier post someone saying they were doincorsair missions and getting good results. I'd say these are our best bet for crystals right now. Most reward for your time anyway.

So worth a go, ya might get a decent tune outta these crystals.

I've given up on krayts and those lvl 111 NPC's for nowbecause the time spent and the reward just aint worth it currently.

now see I was hunting corsairs alot last night the missions that is and got nada...

Doh!

Could bea set of hiddenluck numbers or loot numbers that set when you log on, so one time you log its set so you get loot etc and other times your luck or chance is low. Because its true sometimes the good loot just flows in and other times you do just get nothing no matter what you do.

Just logged my jedi in and checked, they're all Good quality.

The crystals you get at the POI are fair crystals.

Hope they tune good! I'll use the force to trick them into thinking they are Premiums, well maybe.

1 tuned to 61dmg fc -8 so not too bad for me anyway

not really... ive gotten about 20 off them all together and got about 5 goods and 15 fairs...some even tuned decent

Thanks Ill give corsairs a try tonight I have alot of friends that need some half descent crystals.

I was helping a buddy try to get simple tool kits from mercaneries missions 80+ on Lok i looted 3 good damage crystals in about an hour may be hour ana a half . he didnt loot a single toolkit wouldent wana be a smuggler if the crystal drop rate is better than there "simple toolkit"drops

Good is better, but there's a (somewhat unsubstantiated) rumor that all sorts of pearls tend to tune around the same.

The tune system's so borked anyway, the quality of the crystal is largly irrelevant.
