Thread: Seems like SOE is trying to weed out the casual Jedi player, in favor for those with no lives...

man..funny guy. well. first off, jedi isnt really geared toward casual players. they made jedi like this on....PURPOSE! (aka NOT easy to get) Who told you jedi was supposed to be gotten by someone in a week by someone who playes for 30mins a day two days a week?
Now isnt that a concept. They did it from the start. Day one.
There werent 'tons' of jedi till the cu and double xp. thats common knowledge.
Jedi dont 'afk' grind in groups. First off, they USED to afk grind on kash. Devs dropped sentinels and stopped that. Common knowledge.
Jedi dont 'afk' in spin groups either. Most spin groups are on Dant/piketts or Lok. Common knowledge.
Lazy are bounty hunters that whine they cant get into an afk jedis house to kill him. (lazy players) common knowledge
how is a jedi lazy? they put in alot of time to get there. bhs dont. common knowledge
any bh can get tapes and and high loot. BH NOT JEDI. common knowledge
Perfect and premium pearls are OUT of game. common knowledge
they can be gotten in like 10 mins. Who says its a headache?
Maybe you should go play Jedi knight academy if u want a quick jedi.
and where have you been all i said EVERYONE knows about.
I smell jebay.....
umm...my point was in my first sentence. It is NOT for the casual.
and i myself am packing for that boat to another online rpg. my last stop in in the expansion., after that, if its terrible. i am out. theres no point as this game is not for jedi at all. now, i may return when the frs comes back. but until then, if the expansion sucks, im out.
this is scary because of sonys track record, i cant see how the expansion is going to be the best ever. and thats what its going to take. Lucas Arts needs to get someone else to work on this game. period
Also, i feel I need to put my two cents in with the Jedi and the casual player. Casual players MORE THAN EVER can become Jedi. The only thing you need is a 18 week commitment (not a grind but a monthly fee). Once you hit CL80 (which is the easiest thing ever...compared to any MMORPG. You can get to cl80 in 3 weeks casually speaking) you can max out ALL of your related xp in one good AOE group.
When I did it I have to master 17 professions and each profession took anywhere from 3 weeks to 2 months to do (ever grinded MAster Armorsmith, the Master Bio Engineer and then Master Bounty Hunter in a row because the Holocrons told you?? Not too fun.....
Todays' Jedi grind is like going to wal*mart to buy a frozen cheeseburger TV dinner try. Sure you have to drive over there, buy it, then nuke it. But Jedi grind back when I was doing that is like raising a cow...get the cow pregnant, raise the calf, kill the new cow, butcher it, prepare it, package it and then cook it. Just a *tad bit more involved.

Yeah lol sucks nothing like grinding for 7 months to get a full template, Jedi should just be a starting profession the damage has be done already. Now sadly I have to see the KnightRobecollecting dust in my bank.
