I just gotta laugh at how SOE are screwing you guys over. BH losing the ability to hunt Jedi, CH being removed completely is bad, but to it's beloved jedi your all getting nerfed and diluted.

First thing which will happen will be a MASSIVE Jedi population explosion. Not only are you guys nerfed to the level of everyone else, but all that time you put into getting where you are - is wasted.

No more grandure, no more rarity, and when the new wave of suscribers come - you will become nobodys like the rest of the playerbase - especially when the XBOX version goes live and wankers worldwide flood into the game.

But you get the Elder rewards etc......

...this is SOE and Lucasarts, if you honestly think you will gain anything of substance then you are sadly mistaken - as per the past record of these companies. You will get your special cloak...ooo, it might reduce 0.000001% of the damage you recieve and increase the chance of the game crashing 600% - SOE aren't the most reliable of programmers from start remeber.

I must laugh at those ebay jedi who bought their character in the last month however for a few hundred quid. I cry with you honest jedi however.

we get 2 caracters... thats one more than everyone else... lol

erm....your not getting anything special, what your referring to is something you have got already.

So after this update, instead of 1 powerful jedi and a normal character, you just have 2 normal characters - one of which with some pointless object which probably has the name "Thank you for staying with us after we shafted you"

We got our pearls and sabers also

but we get to keep them, no othe rjedi gets a new character! and this lets us play 2 things (either jedi and commando or jedi and smuggler for mesa)

But guess what? When YOU decide you are tired of your proffession and want to try out one of the others(this is after all the respecs of course), you either have to delete your character, which you've spent all this time creating, start playing on a whole new server where none of your friends are, or pay SOE more money every month for another account.

All WE have to do is just log on our alt I'm not feeling too bad about this. Jedi were already everywhere on my server and weak as a normal proff, its not like anything is changing.

As long as the combat system isn't screewed to hell I am happy. I always wanted my jedi template to be more like the pre 9 ones. I hated having to train in just 2.5 disiplines. Oh, and we aren't becoming less powerfull, they already took care of that over the last 6 months. Good Change if the combat system isn't horrific.
