ok first off....
what is up with jedi cloaking... probably the worst thing in SWG history...
if its in great..... lets play another shadowbane and DAOC with stealth classes...
now i always here the argument of well they arent really stealthed... they are tricking peoples minds to be invisible...
really not once did i hear a good comeback to this dumb statement... here is one for you... the force only works on the WEAK MINDED....
so how is this possible for a jedi padawan... yep thats right... a padawan... none of us are knights... able to cloak in front of another jedi....
by the way this is just discussion... im not asking for it to be changed.... so lets see where this thread goes... just talk about it....
give your two cents and move on....

I usually dont comment on grammar and such but...sheesh!
Capital letters? punctuation? Sentences?
And whats with the dots?
Is....this....some....kind....of....new....fashion....thingy...?....?...?.....
I dont mean to be rude but SOME attention should be given to how you express yourself. The mess above is painful to read.

then dont read it...
if you got nothing better to say then dont say anything at all...
if thats the best you can come up with is me doing some dots... live with it you arent my english teacher... im done with college... 2 degrees along with almost a 3rd...
if i wanted to type with proper grammar then i will do that when time arrives...but this is a forum... not your english class...
i like typing this way it is pretty easy to read...
especially with a black background...

Sorry if I hit a nerve.
As for the topic I agree on some points.
I think they should either move cloak to master box or better yet, make it a skill with modifiers.
You could get it at novice powers but lets say it would work only against npc:s.
Then as you gain levels in powers it would get better and better, reaching its current level at master.
Dabblers with x4xx powers should still be able to cloud the minds of nonjedi, but not other jedi. This would cut down on cloakers in normal pvp.
Master Powers shouldnt be nerfed anymore, the opposite.

Dont do it. Dont do it ever....lol. Starting post like these are a bad thing on the Jedi and BH forum. Watch all he77 break loose and the flaming and trash talking begin. People going to start calling each other idiots and noobs. They will starting talking trash about each others moma's before too long when you bring up any subject about bounty hunters and jedi pvp. It gets funny...lol. Here is my 2 cents. Both professions jedi and bounty hunter alike need to be completely taken out of this game. Worst thing that ever happened to SWG. We are the cry babiest group of peeps around.

Saber throw - come on. What the hell is that. You throw the saber at me I will pull it in and use it against you.
You need to try cloak and see how much of a pain it is to use.

Cloak is not a Mind Trick. The way it is used in SWG is the player uses the force to cloak them, making them invisible. Its no mind trick. its a manipulation of the force.
yes, im defending SOE on this one because cloak whiners need to stop. They gave up offense or defense for this skill, or maybe it just fell under their skills as a force wielder either way, its not an attack and its not defense, its merely an advantage, an upper hand on the battlefield and the element of suprise.

I dropped cloak and force armor,got MLS about a week ago.
Now I HATE this Rebel Jedi who uses cloak the nastiest way he can on us when overt pvping.But cloak does not have a problem at all.If I had it,I'd do the same.Yes I'd do what I hate.Because it's to my and my comrades' benefit in battle.
Forget about ppl who say it's a mind trick and stuff.When you type /forcecloak a system messege says "You wrap yourself in a cloak of the Force and hide yourself from sight" or smth like this I'm not sure.YES YOU BECOME INVISABLE!!!
If you have played KOTOR 2,Kreia there says "Nothing is impossible with the Force".One who wields the Force can do anything with it,so long as they are strong enough in the Force.There are those who could destroy all life on a planet instantly with the Force.Becoming invisable is nothing compared to that.
Force Powers sub-prof is actually what every Jedi/Dark Jedi in game should have,according to "Star Wars".And the true strength of a Jedi(and imo,regardless of what ppl say,in game too) comes from the Force,not from their Lightsaber.If Powers getsa huge nerf(as many people ask for)it will be the end of Jedi as we know them in SWG.
Anyway,enough of babbling.I personally think Force Cloak is working as intended and should not be touched.JEDI/SITH are those who wield the fkn FORCE,it is NATURAL that they can become invisable.Those who ask for it to be nerfed or whine about it,let it go and stop crying.If we are to start talking about logic here then I will ask all manner of KD attacks(except that of a rocket launcher) to be completely removed from ranged profs as there is no such thing as a blaster shot knocking a man down! it's totally out of logic!
my 2 cents...altho offensive and a bit large for 2 cents

saber throw is not like a ninja throwing a star at you.Saber is controlled by the wielder through the Force,commanding it to do what he wishes.You can't grab it and use it againts me pal,it will slip off your hands and come back to me

Hmm yea sounds good Force Cloak, Improved Force Cloak, Advanced Force Cloak NPC's Non Jedi Player then Jedi i think that would be cool.
