I've been away for a while. Has anyone tested Force armor vs Master Defender? What is better in your opinion

force armor + novice defender is the same innate armor as a master defender and FA2 has a real low fc in pvp, fa1 is horrible tho, for PvE they both suck, so I'll say pvp FA2, PvE mdefender.

Force Armor definitly works fine. Its included in my current temp and i must say, that i can tank a lot of damage. But it cost a hell lot of force! So if youre in large scale pvp where all rm are doing are attacks etc youre force will go down fast. So you need channel force to keep i up. Personally for me it was the best skill i could take. Im doing very very fine. But everyone has to make his own decission.

FA and IFA both are great but not worth wild.. They chew up your force pool fast.. I've seen MDEF last 2 or 3 times as long than someone with IFA. Just not worth it if you play with Jedi alot. I made a decision to myself to park my jedi until the jedi system is changed up a bit.. Right now, If you dont have your saber loaded with awesome pearls/crystals, its simply not worth it

I plan on getting IFA with 0040 defender, as opposed to 4040 defender, but am still not certain yet.
To the people saying FA for pvp:
Do you still use FA when fighting an opponent with armor break? If so, what's your temp, how much are you getting for with/without FA and with/without AB on? Also, how much force is drained per hit?

i was dueling a jedi yesterday... i have IFA and 0042 defender (valor rocks BH when u have IFA)
he was hitting me for 400 damage w/o AB and i think 700ish with AB. i think his saber was around 280 base dps(please don't base anything on this, the numbers are blurry)

if your a Mpowers like me tho, force armor is terrible...i dropped it for 0040 defender (improved aura)....as powers, ur force cost is insane...and force armor still takes from your force everytime u get hit, so i dont need anything that will cost me more force....aura is the way to go unless your a MLS

Force Armor is just a manashield.
Defender gives you Defense and real armor.
Force Armor is decent as long as you do not intend to tank.

In 1 on 1 FA2 is better on force then aura, yes aura give you a little better def but the cost is allot higher.
Both cost 150fc to use, but FA2 last 30min and aura last 45sec.
So although FA2 cost 12fc each hit the 150fc every 45 sec for aura is higher.

Can't agree more. 
I'm using: LM, Defender 0044, Healer 4000, Enhancer 3402.
I swear I need to just put my template into my sig since I type it out so damned much...
