I am sure there will be BH's trolling our board. I am sure they will have something to say. I am sure it will be a differing opinion to mine, or ours. But that is ok.

We know the facts of what the promise of Jedi was supposed to be. We understand completely how tremedously SOE had fubared their promises to alot of classes, and we are one of those.

Together we HAVE to understand the first person who is Jedi, who yells NERF, is not a Jedi in the least. And as such, should not be fought or encouraged with the attention they get.

Lets focus on getting our proefession, JEDI, the best it can be.

I know....a pipedream.....But, I felt the need to voice my opinion when I counted 3 people in particular who screamed their support for the nerf of AI, and now are yelling about their nerf.....and they are RIGHT this time....stop the damn nerfs SOE...

You're not Jedi, you dont know the first thing about being Jedi. You are Whining Wizards with glowing Lightwangs. That's all you are and all you'll ever be. Jedi will never be able to be re-tooled to be brought in line with how a Jedi should be in STAR WARS, it will always have to be tailored to be 'balanced' combatively for pvp effectiveness, because of the mentality of majority of playes who play Jedi: Whining kids.

The nerfs will continue endlessly, stop going up in arms every time they occur. It's the fault of the majority of Jedi players who will take any tool and find the most creative / original way to abuse it to the best of their ability. This causes nerfs of abilities that may have had other good utility purposes.

It's called stupid-proofing software, and for a game like this stupid proofing = nerfing. Unfortunately there are a lot more stupid Jedi than responsible ones, so expect many of your useful abilities to get nerfed if they provide any sort of angle for abuse.

They could have just moved it to master.... would have solved things too...

Sorry for my biased BH point of view but cloak was meant to be used for recon and stealth, not as an "I may not win but im sure as hell not losing" button

and cm's weren't mean to be able to shrug off mls dmg by out healing it for hours, where's that nerf?

What was the cloak nerf?

nerf to cloak is a balance issue....

seeing a cloaker run in, deal dmg, and then FR2 or FR3 out and cloak away is not all that balanced....

no escape tool should mean 100% success everytime you want to use it...I have cloak with FR1 and I only die when I want to help my group in a fight and worth dying for....


This change will be a good thing, whether people can see past their own 2 feet is another story.

Unlike you I am unbiased on the matter as I am not a Powers user or a BH.

It is not for you or the devs to say how a skill should or shouldn't be used. The devs provide the tools and we as players decide which tools we will use and how we will use them. The devs job is to provide and maintain these tools not to take away or break them.

There is nothing unbalanced about cloak in it's current form. It's just one of many ways a jedi can attempt to escape a BH. BH's are the strongest they have ever been in relation to Jedi, learn your trade, stalk your enemy for more than 10 minutes. If you don't have patience you shouldn't be a BH.

Nerfs, Just say NO!

i wasnt complaining just saying that that IS what the devs have said. they put cloak in for a purpose and its been used in a way they didnt think it would.

I remeber having this same debate just before ai got nerfed, I said the same thing that eventually those that screamed nerf would have they're day as well after cloakers there will be another and another and..... all we have to do is keep asking, the DEV's have shown that they will certainly makenerfing a priority over fixing our proffesion. so whos next?

by the way I support thge DEV's figuring out whatskills we are supposed to have and then implementing them instead of continuously changing what was never thought through in the first place. Well over 2 years old and they still have no clue!

can someone show me where it states that cloak will be nerfed???/
