Personally i hate compromise, but that is the only language with which to speak to anyone nowadays, so here goes:
make saberblock 60% at master sabers
increase Toughness 15ish points
Enable Saberblock in Jedi vs Jedi Combat
15 toughness seems more than enough to cover the loss from 25% less saberblock. only concern is getting hit with Rifleman shots, but i think you guys would accept it to get less damage from melees. Rifleman is going to be massively nerfed in the CB anyway, so it's probably not going to matter in a few months. Personally i think it's stupid that sabers never block other sabers like in the movies. if you guys fight so hard for owning melee, why don't you fight just as hard for jedi to own other jedi? saberblock vs jedi seems logical imo and a decent trade off to un-gimp ranged templates against you

Why does there have to be a compromise? Jedi is already the only profession that has been balanced for the combat revamp yet.

Block isnt all that great anways.
I have been shot once by a rifleman with an exceptional T21 for 2.6K damage which incapped me in one shot..... comp armour is superior.

no, i'm not a rifleman, but no one sees a problem with an 85% saberblock against ranged BH templates? if you guys don't see that that ruins the viability of any ranged BH template, you have no right to complain about melee BHs or BH gank squads with a deck so heavily stacked against a ranged BH.
i guess this is just an exposed nerve for most jedi, but i thought i was being fair, i mean, increased toughness againsteveryone(melee in particular)and having saberblock work in jedi fights seemed pretty worth it to me.
one of the points OF my arguement was that the only justification for 85% SB is rifleman and their insane damage multipliers when combined with a T21 + speedcap. when rifleman gets hit with a nerf bat like no other, like my current swordsman will one day be hit with, there will be NO justifaction for an 85% block.
after the CB, it is my intention to go back to MBH/Mcarbines but 85% at master sabers, with master sabers being, in many jedi's view, essential, the odds are just stupidly out of my favor without major changes to ranged combat or MB abilities vs Jedi.
if not 15 toughness, how much?

and one more thing:
comp armor and jedi block cannot be compared for pvp purposes. it's not 85% and 90%, it's 85% and vuln. even if one WERE to say 85% and 90% that would be incorrect, as armor resists are going to be nerfed.

I am at a loss as to why you would even want to take somthing away.. if you want 60% saber block I want a 60% increase to any melee damage... and so on-- this will go back and forth.. dont take anything away UNTIL they fix or give somthing back..
Why in the hell you want to nerf somthing that is working is beyond me.. unless of course your a BH lol... ranged as well.
Note: Remember JEDI not BH nor medic nor chef... a freaking JED for crap sake!

but you forget that comp armour is 90% then add toughness, then add dodge, block or counter attack.....
dodge of 125 has been proven to be better than saber block vs ranged but it also works vs. melee also.

Wait until Combat Balance, if it is still a problem afterwards, give the BHes a special trap that halfs Saber block for a duration,like 10 seconds for exampleand can only be used every 30 sec - 1 min.

Yes we need to wait for this until the CB hits, at the moment this is our only real effective defense mod.

the thing about dodge is, you can reduce it's effectiveness or increase your accuracy to get around it. it's not as powerful as SB for that reason, and the people that DO dodge my attacks can't follow up with unresisted damage.
acklay stun = 250 damage(lets say, after mitigation 3)
250 becomes 125 from AP level of my imp PSG
125 become 68.75 after 45% stun resist from psg
after 43 toughness from master swordsman and any stun armor i may be wearing, his damage is negligable. he can dodge all day, i(or a dot) will get him eventually.

85% Block IS A MUST!!!, 60% is certain death when youand your gank squadis coming. Take it away and u ruin one of the coolest jedi abilities in both movies and game.
