Thread: The real grind is not getting full template its getting good pearls.

As of right now vet Jedi should not be saying Jedi is a gimmie now simply because I have spent more time trying to loot decent pearls and crystals than I have on the actual grind. This is rediculous. Not that grinding makes you a better player or anything but geeze! Vet Jedi have nothing on us. Loot this!

yeah the current system makes jedi "bad" players, we grind for months and then go hunt holos,crystals and perls..no time to train PVP.
So when a good BH with 20+ jedi fights a day come for a jedi that havent had time to PVP train in months as well as the jedi nerfs, advantage BH
And before you call me a bad jedi, I havent been killed by a BH since pre cu when i was low lvl....
However I had to run my ass off about a week ago when Amaratha uncloaked on top of me while I was meditating, very low on force.... But she didn't get me

you should try grinding jedi in real life.... ingame it's way easier precu, post cu, pre post cu, post pre cu

Pre-CU: hard grind, easy Lightsaber creation.
Post-CU: easy grind, hard Lightsaber creation.
I think it balances itself out.

You are speaking of balance as a relative thing...but I would say balance would be a fairly difficult grind, and fairly difficult lightsaber construction....I dont want it easy, but its kinda stupid that the FS grind as long as the jedi grind...and what made the lightsaber creation easy pre cu? Pearls and crystals still werent THAT easy to get, you had to still work to loot them or spend 4mil (on Corbantis anyway) for a premium.

Premium pearls were a hell of a lot easier to come by than they are now.
Pre-CU all it took was a master swordsman and a MLS Jedi to hunt Krayts effectively. The Krayts spawned all over the place and they didn't drop crappy smuggler slicing tools. It was always nothing, tissue, or a pearl. Maybe a scale here and there. Yes it took some time to farm 20 Premiums to get 4 good tunes, but it's considerably more difficult today when they only drop good pearls on occasion. Most of the time it's a smuggler part or nothing. If they even spawn, which on Bria, they don't anymore.

i'm in between pre-cu jedi and couldnt get good pearls cos i was grinding my ass off before CU now i'm stuck with all but 1 post cu pearls and they are crap

Well, I remember I could NEVER find krayts pre cu, I would look forentire buff rounds (3.5h) and i only found a few...and they were usually already being engaged....I just hunted elders, which I could find a lot easier....But you are correct, 4mil is better than 25mil or whatever crazy prices they are at now
