Just tuned 3 quality crystals

1.Damage 3 force -7

2.Damage 10 force -3

3.Damage 3 force -4

I dont call that quality

dont ever waste your money on any crystal or pearl that isnt premium...... even though SOME PEOPLE think its random, premium crystals have a much better chance of having good stats.

I have tuned 10 premiums so far and all fo them are -6 force cost and 30 damage or better.

he he maybe its new to you, but tuning is totally RANDOM, the quality just gives you a hint in what kind of range the randomness will be:-) thats why most jedis dont touch low crystals from jantas and stuff, its just a waste of time. well maybe they will now, with NS have their specials back:-) I got a -9 out of a fair one (and 50 where total crap) and several -1 to -4 of quality once. so its just freaking random

or maybe SOE just messed the tuning/rating system up LOL

Ah it's still random as hell, tuning a crystal/pearl should have a standard range instead.

Lol you contradict yourself there. You say its random, but 50 of your less than premium crystals were crap and one was good.

8 out of 10 of my premiums have been excellent.

Seem random to you?

I've tuned 8 premiums

6 excellent (all 43+ damage, two -7's one -8 three -9's)

One 28 -9 and one 11 -5

Save money for premiums, more bang for your buck

I'm currious, everone looks at this like it is a random thing, like a scratch off ticket from the quick crystalmart.

Has any one ever considered that it also has something to do with the amount of force, skills, or regen that we have?

It mightexplain more to see that information also when we do threads on tuning.

Man on TC, after Pub 9 i found some poor crystals that tuned between 1 and 30 and -1FC ans -9 FC

This randomenes really needs to be fixed. I'm still finding some damage crystals with a Color associated to it as well. Thye look clear but have a colo when place in the blade.

So many stupid people are still alive because it is illegal to kill them.

Does the level of your jedi have anyy effect on tuning, i.e., does a knight have more success than a padawan?
