Please make it so the Lava Skiff is redeamable for 20k by doing /skiff like the Flsh Speeder is. It gets destroyed too often!

Even Star Wars movies dont like NGE....

I oppose the NGE and support Holocron Shug and Q-3p0's dream of the way SWG should be!

this isnt necesary imho. just be more careful with vehicles on mustafar. most folks losing their vehicles repeatedly on mustafar just arent taking in account how nasty the denizens of the new planet are. store your ride before fights and all is good.

I havent lost a vehicle on mustafar yet cuz i got tired of paying to refurbish them on other planets and started being more careful.

I must disagree Skuzz, there are plenty of players who agro NPC's who then do an area-attack with the new AI setup. This results into your vehicle dying in a simply drive-by. These agro NPC's aren't noticable until they appear when you are in range of 30m-60m which is too close to react. If more cheaper vehicles can stand lava this isn't a problem, but since the Skiff is the only common vehicle to drive over lava, restoring them is a pain, considering many Artisans play a cartel or monopoly on the prices of these tools.

Hey Vernant, how have you been? (Its Wicai BTW)

The reason we charge so much for the tools is because it requires Asteroid Resources to make them. With prices as high as 50 CPU (sometimes even higher) that really drives the price up.

I personally collect all my own resources for my stuff so I don't charge as much as most people, but thats just me.

True, but there's a differencebetween the months-stablestandard 50K-100K and the now new set prices of 200K-300K onChimaerabecause people 'will' need these tools for the skiffs(which die like one-day flies with the new AI area-attacking).The price is purely increased because many crafters know playersbuy them anyway, exploiting the wallets of these players (including new andless-rich playerswho don't have a few millions to buy a couple of kits like I can). But, no need to argue this any further as the post is about the idea of having a /skiff command.

Oh and to the original writer of this post, although I support your idea I won't /sign it, simply because Tiggs announced that she and others devs avoid petitions with a reason and do not read them.

I got my Restoration Kits for 80k and 100k on Chimaera.

GWVS FTW. There's still crafters selling at 100k here, I can assure you.

Unfortunately, the more 'famous' crafters leave more products on bazaar which stay there after the cheaper products are sold (kits in this case). It's a race who reaches vendor first to get a decent prices kit in time. The ratio ofaffordable crafters against the monopolistic ones is still 1:10, unfortunately.

I have just been using speeder bikes. I made a crate awhile back. I have gone through about 20 on Mustufar in 3 days. It is annoying when you get hit and your bike gets whacked in a drive by.

Also, it is annoying when you jump off to engage and try to store your bike and it won't store because combat was intiated simply by jumping off your bike. I wouldn't mind losing a bike ortwoa day, but this is pretty ridiculous yes. There are just so many MOBs out there.

I agree with the original poster.

It is non-tradeable and one per account just like the Flash Speeder. So there should be a command for it too.

NGE satisfaction meter.

It's too good a vehicle to just be able to slap a new one in your datapad for 20k.

There are other people who play the game .. they are called crafters.

they make vehicle restoration kits....quit being cheap! and be more careful with your skiff

I'm gonna have to go and disagree here too.

1) Stirring the economy with the recent demand for restoration kits is a GOOD thing. Maybe more players willroll crafters if they can actually make money with them. It's an indirect consequence, but at leastSony isn't giving away free proton carbines.

B) No one said you have to use the skiff on Mustafar. They even GAVE you an alternate means of crossing lava, albeit a slower one, in the lava flea. You can already reach all Mustafar landmasses without crossing lava using your flashspeeder over the ground and bridges.

And Lastly) Being able to buy a newskiff from the server makes the flashspeeder completely obsolete. It's faster and carries 6 more people.

actually recently the speed of the flash speeder was increased and keeps up with a swoop....seems the skiff is as fast as a speederbike
