Hi could anyone tell me all the different types of pilot helmets there are and weather they can be equiped if you are not a pilot/master of that faction?

Rebel, Imp, and Privateer all get a helmet and jacket. They can't be traded, or sold. You can't even put them in a house that isn't yours. Haven't tried a droid (like the old LS slicing exploit). Mon Cal can now wear the helmet, but wookiees are still stuck staring and a useless decoration.
Can you still wear it after dumping the Master Pilot title? I'm not curious enough to find out yet.

thx
but are there more than one privateer helmet depending on the private faction you work for? Like is the Privateer helmet the Black sun Helmet? I saw a screenshot of a helmet that was not a ris, bh, or mandorlain helmet and thought that might of been some sort of pilot helmet...

No, there's only 1 type of privateer helmet.
There however is the rare loot drop "Black Sun Helmet", which drops off Tier 4 Black Sun ships occasionally.

The Black Sun helmet (the white one resembling the BH armor) is a special lootable helmet - you can get them from either static Black Sun spawns in Endor or a Tier 4 duty mission. The drops are really really rare, though.

There's also the rare Black Sun spawn in Kessel as well, that I think have dropped it.

This seems like a recent change, I've worn my helm while fighting before and it's never lost any of it's condition from that.

Yes, it is bugged. I just recieved my imperial Ace helm 3 days ago, for 2 days It remained at 100/100 condition and I was able to use any force attack that I wanted. On the 3rd day, I died, got resurrected from my friend, then it went to 0/100 condition and said I could not use force powers while wearing armor, so I do believe it is a bug.

So, the force skill restrictions when wearing these Pilot Helmets didn't start when CU went live then?
I only logged in Post-CU for the first time Last Friday.
Did this come with Publish 17 maybe?

at the risk of being called a jedi hater:
Why on god's green earth would a jedi want to wear a fighter pilots helmet on the ground?

Why not?
Seriously though, I mastered Rebel Pilot pretty early on and while I went "Lightsaber Training" in isolation out in the wilderness of some planet (endlessly killing large amounts of creatures over and over) it actually looked kind of cool to wear the Padawan Robes with the Rebel Helmet.
It actually resembles the training helmets a bit, hehe, with full face shield.
Also, if one were a Dark Jedi of some sort, wearing a nice helm could look pretty cool. And you cannot wear any types of REAL helmets... so you have the tusken helmet, your pilolt helmet or the Black Sun Ace Pilot Helmet to cover your face (If you so wish).
Star Wars is, in LARGE part, about style!
