Two issues with my Ace Rebel Pilot Helmet (And I imagine the same for all Pilot Factions):
1) I equipped my helmet and got involved in combat. Afterwards I noticed that the helmet had been reduced from 100 condition to zero condition. I imagine it is a bug like what happened with the Jedi Robes, where they were being treated like armor and were recieving damage from attacks... thus 100 points knocked off the condition.
2) A Jedi can no longer wear these helmets and use the force? I seriously hope that this is changed back to the way it was before. It is listed as "Armor" but does not serve as armor and should not be restricted in such a way. I've been trying for a long time to get a BlackSun Ace Helmet and I'd sure be upset if suddenly I couldn't use it with my Jedi Character (If I wanted to).
More to the point, I was looking for some word on whether the second issue is a bug or "working as intended".
Even if "Working as intended", will it possibly be reverted back to the way it was before? (No restrictive armor quality attached to these pilot helmets)

Just a month? That's not bad.
Anyone remember being a Cleric in EQ1? Pearlescent shards? After that, a month looking for a helmet is nothing.

I still Play EQ and I will not be a cleric again.
Of course I haven't logged on my Bard in 2 mths either

Yea, the drop rate is very rediculous, this is a game after all and who really wants to spend that much time just to get an item, lol. I personally can only play for about 2 hours at most then I need to go outside and surf or something, lol. Anyway, they should really make it a quest based item.

Took me 20 hours straight to get all 4 of my shards, admittedly I was boxing a 60monk, 65 warrior and my cleric (63 at the time), and had various friends and guildmates rotating round the whole time. Kill rate was kinda impressive
The BS helmet is much rarer than the shards are (they're 1/100, or thereabouts)

Are there any other Helmets besides BlackSun? and if so, does anyone have pics?
FYI, BlackSun helmet is NOT dropping on Tempest server. Been doing missions and hunting BS in Endor space for over a month with no drop.

Nope, just the Ace helms from the factions themselves.
I wouldn't say the drop's broken if you've only been hunting for a month. Some of us have gone monthS without looting one, while others on our servers go through multiples.

you could be hunting it for several months in a row and still not get it

I hate you. My Cleric finally got up to epic quest levels around the time of LDoN. By then, no one was doing Skyfire anymore. I spent three months in that zone, soloing, to get my bloody shards! Suckiest thing ever.

there was someone who posted on these boards not too long ago who got 2 BS helms in ONE duty mission... some ppl have all the luck eh

Lucky Bastage. Yeah, i been lookin for about a month now, but i'm not really losing hope (never had much hope to begin with). I'm just working with all of the space loot i'm getting. Making RE parts and whatnot, getting those last 6 lvl 8 guns i need to make my 3rd RE'ed Tri-cannon. Try to make the BlackSun runs work to your advantage. Sure you may not be getting the helm right away, but just look at all the money you are(could be) making
