Thread: Are these recycler Components dropping as of 3/11/05?

I'm looking on assembling my recyclers sometime soon, but I want to know if these parts are dropping, or if I'll be wasting my time trying to find them, so if you've looted these since the last patch please post here


Spinner blades

heating elements

ore tumbler schems

agitator motor schems

I looted an Agitator Motor schematic this morning.

Just looted a tumbler schematic, took 2 hours but got one at least for my efforts.

Remember the assembly is bugged at mo so dont try to make the schems up....

Unless they made an update this morning, I'd have to say no. Last night, I killed tons of Hidden Daggers and didn't get a single spinner blade. I did get the common loot items for the data disk repair kit that they drop. If people are getting the items, they're probably very rare. Looks like the fix they put in for NS and Krayt needs to be applied for the other 'rare' items like the recycler schematics and components. 2 nights in a row, 3 hours a night, not a single spinner blade from Hidden daggers. (doing the missions, so I get a variety of ranks)

Been able to get agitators after a lot of work. Spinners seem to be MIA. Only need 4 to complete my set of recyclers. Not sure on the other parts.

spinner blades are back, 3 in the last 36 hours but you really have to work for them

Thats the whole point, they're not dropping at the same rate as they were before. 3 in 36 hours is pretty crappy.

Spinner blades were always rare. It took me 5 days of missions to find 4 and at least one of those days I played for 13+ hours (no joke - found one that day). This was right after the recyclers were first introduced, so well before any of the loot nerf/bug happened.


Of course, when I finally looted my 4th I also looted a 5th from the same friggin' mob. Wouldn't you know it, lol.
